I saw a lot of 4 man fronts in this game. It was random as well like not down or drive specific. Could have simply been because guys were gassed I don't know.

Jordan Mailata mentioned this after the game, Evero purposefully changed-up to a 4-man line. Mailata said Eagles hadn't seen that from Panthers this season and were forced to adjust.

Icky continuing to be absolutely solid.

Another reminder (to myself as much as anyone) to not write off these young guys so soon. Hopefully Legette will follow....

Icky reminds me a little of Andrew Thomas who REALLY got some heat for the beginning of his career. Hopefully he also is able to ascend to the level Thomas has. That would be phenomenal.

I do think he always will be a better run blocker than pass blocker, although he has certainly made strides in that arena. The biggest thing he needs to work on is the penalties. It has slowed down but he still leads the OL in penalties on the year.

Got to get a Nose Tackle next year. Or does anyone think Brown can play it?

i actually like the idea of the brown/tuttle/robinson front and was excited about seeing it.

that said, i wouldn't hate if we brought in a better NT. Brown and Robinson are beasts, though. i feel really good about them.

Main reason I wouldn't mind taking Mason Graham. He is a 3 tech that can play 4 or 5.

Draft Profile Summary:

Mason Graham has the potential to be one of the best defensive tackle prospects to come out of college in the last few years. His lack of elite size and length will keep him from being in the same category as Jalen Carter, but the Michigan product's combination of strength and athleticism gives him a high ceiling as a pro.

Graham is quick off the ball to put pressure on offensive linemen immediately and has the agility to throw off linemen's angles when slanting. He's very effective when slanting to get penetration in the backfield, and he has the strength and physicality at the point of attack to control blocks when taking them on straight up.

Against combo blocks and double teams, the Wolverine's sub-par pad level will occasionally cause him trouble, but he's also shown the ability to absorb contact and hold ground when he keeps his pads down. He's even made a few plays while taking on double teams.

As a pass-rusher, Graham is still learning how to use his hands consistently and his lack of top-tier arm length might be a bigger issue at the next level.

However, he has the movement skills to develop a good arsenal of pass-rush moves and has already flashed a decent hand-swipe and swim move. Also, he has the strength to collapse the pocket as a bull rusher when he uses good leverage.

Schematically, Graham would be best as a 3-technique but he can line up as a 4- to 5-technique if needed. Michigan has been moving him up and down the defensive line so far this season, which has helped increase his position versatility.

Robinson is having a down year against the run but i think it’s because he’s the focus with teams not concerned about Ray or Tuttle as much. A season before last he was the 8th highest graded DL in the league. He’s really good at his best, still in his 20s and got him for at least 2 more years.

yeah, it's understandable. you put brown over across from him and running games are going to be struggling.

I hate to find myself rooting on the offseason again, and I am looking forward to watching us these last few weeks. That said, we are effectively out of contention.

I am very interested to see where we spend money, and where we spend draft capital. We get 95 back, but DT has been a massive weakness for us this year, especially in the run game. We also have hurt at edge, but when some guys got healthy, we we've been better there, but not great. I think linebackers and secondary have overperformed, but Mike Jackson, Xavier Woods, and Jordan Fuller are Free Agents. I'm not sure I'd resign any of them, and definitely not for big money. If they want to play on team friendly deals, let's go.

On offense, the line has been really good, with Center being a glaring weakness. We could really stand to add in the RB room, the TE room and the receiver room. Lots of needs, but a good o-line can hide a lot of ugly.

Anyone with premium know how they rated Bryce? I'm curious how PFF compares to ESPNs QBR because so far the two don't line up at all hahaha.

Two totally different grading systems.  One is stat driven and one is eye test.

People want to call one right or wrong over the other, but you have to understand how they are determined and look at the results in that context.

    • Funniest part about this is  Tmac pro comparison is Drake London and you guess it Tee Higgins  https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/10135809-tetairoa-mcmillan-nfl-draft-2025-scouting-report-for-arizona-wr.amp.html   Of course you think I didn’t watch him but Basically every scout breakdown says the same thing I said… https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Tetairoa-McMillan-WR-Arizona   Again Not a bad player and he has a chance to be a mid number 1 wr like (London, Pittman, Sutton) High end he could develop into Mike Evans.. But if I’m using a top 5 pick I  Want a Chase , Harrison JR or Nabers type player.. And agin that after going after a proven pro ready TMac type player in FA (Higgins)..
    • At some point you have to realize you are truly going overboard with your Analysis on Tmac.. No he is not better then Higgins or close to the player Higgins is because reality is one is a proven Pro bowl player and 1 hasn’t play 1 down of pro football…  I’m debating your opinion based on fictions and projections.. You love the guy cool hope he becomes The Randy Moss you think he is..  I still rather pay the money for a proven vet and draft defense which is the strength of this draft.. jmo
