Coker injury update?

is it just me or does every player hurt on this team sit out the absolute maximum number of games

glad we’re so player friendly but maybe, you know, we win that game if a guy who has built a reputation as an elite defender against the run on the edge is out there

edit: it’s not my leg, I get it. I’m just frustrated.

Been hoping for a speedy recovery for him. Obviously, no sense in rushing him given our record. But still…Legette got 8 targets yesterday and came down with only two catches. Gotta wonder what the outcome of the game would be if some of those targets went to Coker.

the frustrating part with Coker is that he really needs to be evaluated.

its great his pff grade is good but you can’t neglect WR as a need on the basis of an UDFA who “really looked the part” catching three passes a game. They need to see him.

but maybe I’m still traumatized by David gettis and secret weapon Drew Carter

I don't think anyone expected to be the Philly game to be as close as it was. So maybe (just speculating!) we saw this as an opportunity to rest up our borderline healthy players to get ready for what on paper anyway looks like a much more winnable game, against Dallas, in front of home fans.

I wonder how many players wouldn't have scratched if we knew it was going to come down to the final drive.

looks like he may be back on the field next week against Dallas.

Apparently JT Sanders was back in this week and missed his only target. i think i missed it, too. didn't remember seeing him.

Deep pass on a scramble from Bryce. I liked the pass and thought Sanders did a terrible job of trying to backpedal to it, instead of turn & run.

The one time I remember was on an early scramble drill.  He seemed to cut his route off when he peaked and saw Bryce scrambling. I think if he keeps running down field he's got a TD or a massive gain.

So I didn't pay a ton of attention during the week, but I saw Coker had practiced Wednesday. Did he reinjure himself later in the week?

Looking forward to his return... He had been really good there for a few weeks.

Yeah

He was a full participant during Wednesdays practice then he had a setback and was limited Thurs/Fri

At this point I’m not counting on anyone we have at WR for next season other than Thielen. We need two WR’s and anything we get from XL is a bonus. We’ll see if Coker can get back on the field this week

Lowkey Bryce best pass of the day . If JT stick to running down field he catches that in stride for an easy td .

His backpedal attempt to catch a wide open TD from Bryce in the 2nd, or was it the 1st quarter?

Also I'm sick of hearing that the 2nd quarter interception was what cost us the game. I guess they all missed the 3rd quarter touchdown drive that took the lead. And the 4th quarter TD drive our defense gave up. And the 97 yrd drive that would have given us the lead had X hung onto the 37 yrd TD pass that hit him right in the hands.

I'm still traumatized from Dwayne Jarrett and Keary Colbert.
