They stopped trying to force feed Zek hoping for some former glory.  Their oline has actually been opening some nice running lanes.  Luckily, the passing game for them has been off, way off, so we might get away with stacking the box a little

We had huddlers insisting that Cam sucks during his MVP season. Some people would rather eat glass than admit their football knowledge is sometimes flawed so they will deny what is in front of their eyes in order to not admit it. We (and I for one) have completely said that.  He is improving he is a top 15-20ish qb now and thats a far cry from where he started.   He most certainly has earned next year.  Nobody is denying that and nobody is "hating".   But to say he is a top 5 qb and is play has been "brilliant" simply is just looking at things through process blue blinders.

Yeah, I definitely agree that he hasn't been top 5 overall QB in the NFL. 

I interpret the posts I've seen as top 5 in some metrics over the last 3-4 games. Top 5 overall is just not true.

Agreed. He is no shape or form a top 5 or even top 10 qb right now. But he is now IMHO a legit starter, he's improving,  and his weapons right now are not that good. 

He still has room for growth but I do see more Bama Bryce coming out. 

Last year I was happy with young or stroud. I didn't want ar and I really didn't want Levi's. Stroud obviously lit it up but I'm rooting for our young guy, would love to see him succeed and if he continues to put it together and our weapons improve he can be a top 10 qb.

If you redid the 2024 draft and included Bryce for shits and giggles he’s probably the fourth qb taken.
