I misspoke. I meant, at the time, I didn't think it was horrible. I'm old school and love a smash mouth running attack. Im always happy to get a potentially great rb. This one though, is looking like a miss. My point was I feel like it was worth the risk, at the time. Anytime you bet on something there is a chance you loose.

I remember all the whining about Horn being a wasted pick. Now the majority want to extend him.

Boone will be backing up Chubba and seems Blackshear injury wasn’t serious and he could go this weekend. Horn also seems fine

Teams get RB's in the 5th round all the time. Zach Frazier sitting right there in the draft makes it even worse now that we're down to like our 3rd center.

He has now missed 2 years of his 4 year deal.  Its a completely wasted pick

The deal once you feel the injury, you know when happens again. When he was crying on the sidelines, I was "incoming bad news".

Mike Boone is on Practice Squad. 

Also, we signed Emani Bailey to the practice squad he was with the Chiefs during training camp. He ran for 1200 yards and 8 TDs at TCU last year.

Dillon Johnson is on Practice Squad/Injured as well.

Bailey is 5 ft 7 205lbs

Sometimes I feel like there are fans of other teams that post on here to make our fanbase look really stupid, but then I realize some of our fans just are.  The kneejerk reactions about draft picks and then never admitting they are wrong when things work out.

Wasted is stronger than id use but yeah….yeah.

It's not knee jerk reactions. There have been very few picks in Teppers tenure that have worked out with the most successful at this point being Chuba. Bryce's successful sample size is far too small to label him a home run and Horn has been injured half his career.
