If you think any QB would be putting up better numbers than Bryce in this offense, you are delusional. Today for the first time I found myself only trusting Bryce as my QB. And if not for a horrible drop, he would have had one of the best 4th quarter game winning drives in Panthers history. 98 yards with the would be TD oass  to Legette being an absolute 40 yard dime.  People talk about consistency? He has consistently led this team to potential game winning drives 3 weeks in a row. I am beyond excited for Bryce and don’t want anyone to else as my franchise QB.

Any truly top qb with this o line and run game is gonna put up numbers. Sorry, that's just not believable.

I’d say stroud and Maye have done similar if not slightly better their last 5 or 6 games. I would say Maye has been slightly better because he has far less to work with. Nix has also out performed him. But Bryce has played better than Williams which is awesome haha.

Last 6

Stroud

5 TDs, 7 turnovers

Bryce

7 TDs, 4 turnovers

Maye

6 TDs, 9 turnovers

I watched Jaylen Hurst with Brown and Smith look below average against a 31st ranked defense.

Bottom line, some of these plays that Bryce madr only a few special QBs can make.

I disagree, he doesn't have the physical tools, his "potential" is severely limited because of that fact.

Before these last few weeks he's been so bad that people are confusing serviceable with true franchise QB potential.

He was the #1 overall pick and he's looking barely serviceable at the end of his 2nd season, that's not a good thing, he should have been looking like this from game 1 last year.

Someone get this man JaMarcus Russell

The hater label has become so overused it has no meaning here in reference to Bryce Young anymore.

This isn't a Cam situation where he entered the league balling out and people begrudgingly cheered and still lowkey loathed him.

He's had to earn his gig back after playing horrendously. Now he's looking like a serviceable starter. That's where we're at.

best take ive seen on this so far

Lol....And what's your point to this? Do you think that's gonna happen every week? It's any given Sunday for a reason. Panthers just had a great gameplan today to slow down that offense, eagles are on like a 9 game winning streak or something...do you think that's because hurts has been putting up the numbers he had today every game? The eagles team today wasn't the consistent team you see every week.

I assume you don't think Hurts isn't a serviceable starter?  Because we get blown out if Bryce is on the Eagles.

Lol...so it's took 5 games for yall to be convinced that if you throw bryce on any good team they are automatic contenders? This is the reach type thinking I can never get with.

Jalen Hurts has been the epitome of up and down the last few seasons after finishing runner up for MVP in 2022. In actuality Hurts descent from that is a good example to keep things in perspective for our own QB and the progress he has made for the time being.

Point is that Bryce Young does a hell of a lot more with less since he’s been benched, especially last 3 weeks.  Hurts is just a reference point but whatever

Just the fact that BY's play is to where it's actually changing some people's opinions around here is a Christmas miracle.

For me, it went from wanting to give him a second chance to thinking his awful rookie experience may have irreparably ruined him to moments that highlight exactly why we drafted him in the first place. The biggest surprise is how he's played in big moments. Going toe-to-toe with Mahomes. Throwing what should've been the game-winning TD to Thielen last week and then having a game winning drive in OT right before Chuba fumbles the game away. Then a Houdini-like escape from your own end zone and then what could've been another game winning TD if your rookie WR could just catch a ball against one of the best defenses in the NFL.

The stats may not be the prettiest but he's starting to prove his worth not just to fans and the media but more importantly, his own team. If they believe in him and are playing as such, then that's what matters the most.
