I think Bryce had some really good games lately, however this has been a rough one. But overall positive trajectory since coming back from being benched. Depending how we finish the last few games, I would be ok going in to next year with him as the QB.

By all means continue with coming out of the woodwork when he has a poor game and disappear when he doesn’t

Lol...it's in writing, no one disappears. Poor game or good game he will never bring the value of what we gave up.

Maybe you should go back and watch the prior 17 or so before judging off of 3-4.

And again, where am I judging anything? I have pretty clearly acknowledged that Dallas is whopping the whole team today.

Unfortunately, I did watch all of those.

Bryce will be here next year as a starter. We’ll see what happens then.

No amount of fan complains will cause the team to replace him.

I’ve seen reason to hope he can become something…that is all I’m pointing out.

I think at some point you have to make a decision & stick by it to simply move on & quit playing this "what if"game year in & year out with the same player.

& I understand this could happen & that could happen & if this other person had done this then this would have been the result instead.yes  I honestly get all that.however at the same time I also understand you can simply replace this aforementioned "what if "  with potentially a very  good player at Qb with the 4th overall pick in this upcoming draft

 ...just saying

I'm okay with him in starting in 2025 because I don't want a RD1 QB this draft.

Because we can't get much for him.

I don't love the QB's at the top of this draft but man.... we have to do something. Bryce just can't do it... he doesn't have the ability/skill even when the plays are there...and the rest of the team is not good so all in all we're terrible.

The top 2 guys will be gone and then it drops WAAAAAAY off. Don't get your hopes up, it ain't happening.

The problem is his ceiling is not top 10 QB , and that is with playing to his strengths. His floor is not even backup. His weaknesses become exacerbated when things break down. His small stature and frame leads to fumbles from the most basic tackles.

For us to keep him as a starter we are going to have to build our version of the 49ers to be competitive .

    • He's going to be a part of the team for the foreseeable future that's all I gotta say. Steal as an UDFA.
    • Under Jerry RIchardson, the identity was always clear (with the exception of George Seifert). Defense first, run the ball.  Under David Tepper, I haven't been able to figure out who this team is trying to be. At any point. What is the identity? Are they an offensive team because of an offensive head coach now? Are they a running team or a passing team? Have they made any indication about who they are even trying to be? Dan Morgan said something about "needing more dogs" or something like that but they have no identity.  To quote Andrew Carnegie, "As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say, I just watch what they do."  What do the Panthers do? Lose football games. So I guess that's the identity.
    • 4 catches for 110 yards by a UDFA in his first game in more than a month is far more than "playing well." I swear a guy could put up 9 catches for 215 yards, 3 TDs and this board would say "he played decent but he's still not that good". It's OK to admit we have a star WR in the making.
