In Travis Hunter territory now….why get T-Mac when you can possibly get Hunter.

I’d be all for Hunter. If Pats go get Tmac for Drake Maye you go run to the podium. Just got to hope Prime doesn’t tell him to force himself out of here.

You still draft him any ways. Balls in your court. I believe he plays the wrong position to make those demands, but that why DM and the staff need to sell it to him.

Who was the receiver we had that used to body catch almost exclusively if he wasnt dropping the ball his first season... was it Samuel? And he ended up buying a Juggs machine in the offseason. Iirc, by the time his contract was up here he ended up being one the most clutch receivers, if not the top, on 3rd downs.

XL needs work but I've seen enough of his strong catches in college to be optimistic for potential.

XL wasn't a body catcher in college. He may be making an adjustment due to the wrist injury. If he's out there he needs to catch the damn ball, but we shouldn't be anywhere near giving up on him.

I tend to agree unfortunately when the issue is body catching.

Randy Moss was body catching all the time.  XL needs time and work.  He is just raw.  I think he is a #3 guy but he still has upside.

I appreciate the optimism but Legette is garbage. He can't play.

That said, WR is definitely on the list of needs. If you can contain Adam Thielen we're almost at checkmate.

On paper ..next year AT, Coker and XL will not be enough IMO. Even if the rookies are improved next season we'd still need another reliable vet and a swing at WR in the draft.

You might be thinking of Philly Brown. I could be mistaken but I don’t recall Curtis Samuel having a drops problem.
