Tolbert worked with Anquan Boldin when he was drafted and went to the Pro Bowl his rookie year..

Makes you wonder what he could do with our receivers

Steve Smith is not going to get any better at age 30. The rest of our receivers blow. The key will be getting a talented guy in the draft that Tolbert can teach from the beginning.

Yes, it's been mentioned -- but it's the offseason, so who cares.

I'm not going to write off the guys on our roster just yet. Not only will they have a new recievers coach, they'll have a new quarterback throwing to them. Let's hope both of those contribute to guys like Moore, Jarrett, and even Goodson stepping up.

Kenny Moore still has a chance to be special, and despite how horrible Dwayne Jarrett is he still has a poo ton of God given talent. Now, its just a matter of will either player take advantage of their FINAL chances next year.

The question is how much of Boldin's success was a result of Tolbert's coaching.

There is talent in every receiver. And yes, EVEN Steve Smith can improve. Certainly over last year. Another rookie (or 2) should still be added to the mix.

And I will be very interested to see what out new receiver coach gets out of our guys.

I would love to see Dexter Jackson make it. I went to high school with him. Never thought I'd see him in a Panthers jersey, and it surprised the hell out of me when I saw him on Madden. I was like naaaawwww.... That can't be the same dude, but it is.
