You're right, we do agree on T-Mac, which... hold on..... *checks notes again*..... is only something we agree on because you finally listened to what I was saying about him on here SINCE LAST NOVEMBER, despite your insistence that he wasn't on the same level as Hunter as a WR for the longest of times.

There's that next level analysis you provide this place, rock on!

I already glazed you for putting me on Tmac. I'm not going to continue glazing after the fact. He's the best WR in the draft I been saying it for months now.

My point is you continue to tout up your analysis of players while bashing mine.

Yet currently the player you claim to want the most in this class, is only in that position in your mind because of MY analysis of him and pushing him on you.

If you can't see the seething irony there, then I don't know what to say.

You saying I bashed your analysis is crazy work. You literally called me a Madden fanboy lol.

Yeah the seething irony...

I'm not going to try and go find old posts from months and months ago, but yes, you called me crazy for saying T-Mac over Hunter as a WR on numerous occasions.

and yes, you are a Madden fanboy (and I don't mean the game, just in how you view potential roster management moves, you view them as if it's Madden where you can manipulate things to get whatever you want done).

Again, that you don't see this stuff is an indictment on you, not me.

Call me crazy but I'd like a Bersin type guy in later rounds that can learn under AT the tricks about how to get open. Bersin wasn't flashy or fast, but he caught every damn thing thrown at him. Someone who's willing to go across the middle and take those hits and actually hang on to the damn ball is something I think we've been sorely missing for a while.

Nah

I love Thielen and he's a more than valuable player, but I think we have that role covered a bit with XL (in terms of the going across the middle) and if we were to draft T-Mac, he also thrives on crossing routes and absorbing hits while making crazy grabs.

I'd rather have a peak Curtis Samuel type of slot WR over a Thielen, especially with XL and Coker already on the roster who are more in the Thielen mold from the slot than a Samuel, even if they aren't exactly Thielen of course.

Never said I know better than you. You also only holding me accountable for Bryce.

What about Jayden Daniels? Remember I said I would take him #1 overall.

What about Brock Bowers? I said he would be the best offensive player in the draft over the hyped Harrison Jr.

I was right about a lot last draft including nailing our 2 rookie picks.

Your resume doesn't stack up with mine if we being honest. What did you call in the draft?

Bro really, Bowers? He's widely regarded as the one of the greatest if not the greatest tight end in college football history. The only two time winner of the Mackey award. Many considered him the best player in this draft, but was pushed down due to the qb run and team needs. I have no horse in this race, but I wouldn't be puffing my chest over his success. He was the best player on the field in every game since he was a true freshman.

Yeah it's why you have to go back 2 years just to bring up my Bryce prediction.

Even though he hasn't lived up to the #1 pick can I get credit for being right yet again on the pick?

Technically I was right back to back on these draft picks for the Panthers. You may not agree with what I say, but you have to respect that I call the right picks.

I wasn't even looking for proof of you being wrong and me correct on something, was just looking back on the thread I made over a year ago about T-Mac and found this gem in there.

You wanted to go O-Line with our first two picks and that we would make a splash in FA at WR.

I agreed on using cap room on a WR, but I also told you there wasn't going to be a WR in FA (which there wasn't) and that we should try to trade Burns for one (maybe we did and it didn't work, who knows).

I also told you that trying to hit on two OL in the 2nd and 3rd isn't the right route to go, but using that cap room on some guards is how you do it (which we did, and it's working).

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Interesting isn't it

(and yes, I know I was wrong on using that 2nd rounder on a defensive player, but that was also off the hope of using Burns help get a WR, which was the right idea, I was hoping Aiyuk, just wasn't able to be done in the end).

Why did Harrison Jr get drafted ahead of him?

You can't say you were right or wrong on a player drafted until at least year 3/4. You can say its trending one way or another, but to definitively say you were right off a 12 game sample size is crazy IMO.

Texans actually earned the #2/CJ Stroud pick by sucking, got a new coach, traded up to draft Will Anderson, drafted Tank Dell and basically did a 180.

That was my point originally - you are replying to my response where a guy said they got better through FAgency.  And it wasn't just the 2023 draft - they also built through the 2022 draft with a solid draft (Stingley, Pitre, Harris).

Sorry but that is a funny comment "peak Curtis Samuel over Adam Thielen".  Peak Samuel in his mid 20's can't even put up Thielen numbers at 33 years old!  You can try and blame his organization and QB but he has Josh Allen this year and has disappeared.  They don't even have a clear #1 - he is in his best situation yet and is doing nothing.

Yeah they added in FA this year, but that's after they felt they were in a playoff window after drafting really well last year.
