13 million cap space from possible Moton extension

9 million cap space possible from jaycee horn extension

Miles Sanders 6.7 million cut post-June 1

Dane Jackson 3.3 million cut pre-June 1

Current 33.6m 2025 cap space

After transactions: 65.6m cap space

Additional transactions decisions: entire special teams unit contracts are up.

Shy Tuttle 6.5 million post-June 1 cut

Adam Thielen 6.75 million post-June 1 cut

Jadeveon Clowney 8 million pre-June 1 cut/10 million if traded.

Ashawn and Wonnun also could free up some space but both are playing to their contract. AT is playing to his contract too but he is old. I would keep Thielen and cut Tuttle. I would also try and shop Clowney around the draft if you can get an upgrade on him, I doubt that happens tho. But I'm happy with my $73 million in cap space.

its pretty clear they are on void years, i really dont understand why fans think they are on the roster in 2025.

I dont just see it here either, its everywhere.

Corbett is but the other two are old fashioned straight up end of contract free agents.

I would consider resigning Woods unless there is some other vet safety to sign.

Firing Ejiro Evero….thats all I got so far.

This one is crazy - I mean the guy has nobody on the field outside of Jaycee Horn for most of the season.  Revolving door at LB.  Basically teams could double Clowney, run away from Jewell, and throw away from Horn since he only plays 1 side.  But you see how different it became when Wonnum and Fuller came back?  Those doubles went away from Clowney, big increase in QB pressure, Jewell isn't getting caught up by the line as much since they have to worry about Wonnum now.  And the secondary got more solid and has an easier job since passes are coming out quicker.  Imagine what this team will be when DB is back and we have legitimate starting LB's other than Jewell?  Evero is fine IMO - you can't ignore the injuries in this instance.

I'm cutting all the old men.  Theilen is gone.  Clowney gone.  They serve little big big purpose given what we are and where we are.  Young blood needs those reps.

Theilen still has plenty left in the tank plus has a vet presence for our young receivers. Clowney, I agree with you there. The amount of times I saw that dude taking plays off has been insane. He's clearly just playing for a paycheck at this point. Dude has no interest anymore.

If we were built different and in a different place....I would welcome him.  We are what we are.

He is still a glorified TE with good hands at this stage in his career.  And every year at his age is going to be impactful to what we are really getting.  We need to be focused on youth.  He takes too many snaps.  AT IMO gets overrated around here because the pass game has been so bad....and he happens to be a savy vet who gets heavy targeting.  I still think also helps bring the ceiling on the O down and we can't afford that with our QB.

After Theilen's performance last game it's kind of wild to me people want to let him walk when he's the only person that can consistently catch a ball on the team.  He's also a tough player and a good vet presence, which I'm not always that huge on but I think it's big here and good for Bryce's development.  If he didn't get hurt early in the season he'd probably be or close to 1k yards again.  I think he also fits the mold that Morgan and Canales want here with tough guys.

But I agree with most of the other suggestions.  I'd just keep Clowney at this point and let him finish up his time here.

I've noticed most people on here want to get rid of people when they play well. But when they suck, they also want to get rid of them. It's probably an obsession with draft picks and the unknown.
