Injury prone which is why we traded him in the first place. I wouldn’t take him back, sadly I think his best days are behind him

I agree that sadly his best days are behind him. I always loved the way he ran when he was here, giving it all every second he was on the field.

This is why you don't overpay RBs.

Low shelf life and not much impact unless they are surrounded by a great roster.

Saquan was nothing in NY. The moment he got on a good roster his talent become more noticeable. He's now in the MVP conversation just like CMC.

That is why I am glad the Panthers drafted Brooks in the 2nd round, which will help extend Hubbard's career

Not much impact in Carolina because we were on a downswing. When he started for SF they were 27-10 including a SB and NFC Championship appearance. When he didn’t start, they are 7-9.

I won’t disagree on the second contract but like Barkley after he got hurt, I wouldn’t be surprised if CMC has a solid year next year. 300-400+ touches a couple years in a row is typically not good for the following season.

so...I dont mean for this to come off harsh, but what the heck are you talking about ? Saquon came into the league with a poor Giants offensive line, Quarterback play and was able to overcome that for many years, injuries not withstanding.

He was nothing as in the team was nothing. Sorry for the confusion.

CMC will never be able to make if as a slot WR in the NFL. It literally removes almost every single advantage he has.

This is one of the most insane things the Huddle has ever been fixated on.

I think if he could he would have a long time ago. It would have been the better path professionally.

    • Show me where I haven't given him his props for playing better? Do you UNDERSTAND how bad he was to start the year? So anything that isn't absolutely horrible was an improvement for bryce....do you get that? Far as throwing dimes yeah the reactions are different but also just maybe.....WE SHOULD BE USE TO IT BY NOW and not still waiting till the back half of YEAR 2. You ever think maybe some folks feel that way? Aidan O connel performance doesn't take away but WE didn't start the circle jerk comparisons of the teams we play and where there ranked against whoever the qb was starting here. When dalton stepped in last year and threw 300 yards and 3 tds against Seattle all we heard was how trash Seattle defense was. He steps in this year and does it again against the Raiders and the bengals but those teams defenses are also trash according to some of you so it doesn't matter. Therefore, you can't blame people for applying that same logic to bryce and if another qb performs even better against that same team. If the roster is so weak no qb should be having good games and if bryce is the best qb on the roster then he should be putting up the better games no matter who we play.  Once again,  I have acknowledged his improvement but let's not try to sit here act like demanding crow, apologies, and retractions is somehow the same thing. It's still to early for that and nothing but built up emotion.
    • If you include Week 8, he drops to 13th in offensive grade and 11th in passing grade.   Still pretty solid.
    • The majority of the huddle was all but ready to turn the page after the conclusion of his rookie season. It's not hyperbole to say in several key statistics he had one of the worst rookie seasons in many years. That's why even looking like a competent starting QB is being met with near parades around these parts. But the people who are looking to talk down to others are definitely forgetting this franchises past with the QB position if they are getting too invested in only the last 4 games. Even a guy like Baker Mayfield who people around the NFL had said finally turned the corner looked like dogshit against our defense and has now fallen off again.
