Serious question: Jameis Winston or Bryce Young straight-up?

Both #1 overall disappointments, both some upside and downside.

Salary doesn’t seem to be a big differentiator.  

Straight-up, who’d you rather have as your QB1 right now?

I don't know how you can compare a veteran like that to Bryce, a player coming off the best stretch of games in his career.

Winston is super entertaining to watch when he's on a different team, because if he isn't throwing touchdowns, he's throwing picks.

Right now?  Probably Jameis, but his turnovers make it a hard choice.  Very hard to win games when you turn it over at the rate that he does, so depending on the team you might prefer someone who can manage the game as Bryce has been doing.

If I was a team like the Lions I'd probably prefer Bryce.  Just manage the game, don't try and be crazy.  Jameis can't do that, that isn't who eh is.

I want Bryce and Jameis (or similar, Hendon Hooker, Dalton, rookie, etc) competing in preseason for the starting gig.  

Nothing given, gotta earn it for Bryce.  He needs competition, he’s never really had that in his young life.  

Compete, get benched, get back up, be better.

He needs to compete.  That’s why he got better, he got benched.  He’s never been benched in his life and it was a shock to him. It’s been handed to him.

Bring someone legit in and make him honestly earn it.  It’ll make him better if nothing else. And the team.
