Okay....imma entertain you a lil bit since you seem to be asking for it. First off, you try comprehending a statement before responding with all that gibberish you just said. Secondly, we are not just talking about a random "what if" here in a game situation and your bitcoin l care nothin about. Bryce HAD SOLID PROTECTION AND RECEIVERS the first 2 games and he still performed WAY BELOW even normal standards for a QB...HE LOOKED THAT BAD. So WTF are you talking about with protection and weapons???? IT WASNT AN EXCUSE... and everybody except you clearly saw that. Last year wasn't even relevant at that time. body language, mood everything was off to start the season. He had no business on the field and Canales did the best thing he can do with only 2 games played. The odds that he would have somehow just turned it around were extremely low and would have continued a downward spiral if he stayed a starter. Even the locker room could see it. SO ONCE AGAIN, we're not talking about some random WHAT IF, and if instead of just focusing on that why don't YOU tell us what would have happen if he had of remained in the lineup to play for guy who showed no consistency at all last year. Go ahead I will wait.

So you proceed to let me have it since I’m asking for it lmfao by saying we’re not talking about a random if….what in your head doesn’t click If statements are not realistic. If statements allow me to say anything and make it sound logical. “If” statements in this forum allow anyone without real statistical evidence or factual proof say anything will or can happen so speak directly to facts without these goofy azz if statements or accept all “if” statements.

And to respond to your nonsense he had weapons he had protection. He had a rookie WR playing his first NFL game with Mingo and DJ as his other primary targets. How have either preformed since being traded let’s go deeper into that he had weapons. His top targets(week one) XL 7 targets DJ 6 targets Mingo 5 targets now the rookie has has about 8-9 games before Bryce’s return and we’ve seen XL develop some since the start of the season. And those other TOP weapons have a combined 3 catches in a combined 9 games since being traded. 5 for DJ 4 for Mingo these are the top targets your refer to as who he should have been shining with. Is it all on Bryce or these WRs being actual liabilities and not good players does that matter to you or should Bryce be able to elevate them? Do you really know football or is this my 12 yr old nephew spewing a childish mindset and asking us to accept it as serious football talk.

I’ve just seen the post from @Icege It’s sad after being shown actual facts you don’t know what you should be eating crow about buddy grow tf up. It’s ok to be wrong it doesn’t make you a bad guy you’re just wrong about Bryce . You said quote “Bryce can’t throw down field” do you still feel that way? You said a lot of nonsense that has now been proven wrong but we need to keep waiting right ok kool. I can agree with that we need more much more good play before we fully commit for next season, but to act like the progression being shown isn’t impressive as sht. We’re seeing Bryce play good while waiting on more consistency to crown em but you gotta get out of that dark place because living in denial is a bad place to reside.

The majority of the huddle was all but ready to turn the page after the conclusion of his rookie season. It's not hyperbole to say in several key statistics he had one of the worst rookie seasons in many years. That's why even looking like a competent starting QB is being met with near parades around these parts.

But the people who are looking to talk down to others are definitely forgetting this franchises past with the QB position if they are getting too invested in only the last 4 games.

Even a guy like Baker Mayfield who people around the NFL had said finally turned the corner looked like dogshit against our defense and has now fallen off again.

It's really only been 2 games. The NO team was so bad their coach was fired after the game and Chuba and the defense carried the team to the win against NY. He's played better but I'm not willing to crown him QB god yet. I want to see more than 2 games or even the rest of the season. I want a full 3rd season with the occasional clunker because it happens to every QB, even the great ones. I just need more than what we've seen to this point.

Nah....saying reasonable things like this just go on death ears. You gotta eat crow, make retractions,  and apologizes blah blah blah whatever the hell else they can come up with off pure emotion.

Perfectly reasonable position.

Show me where I haven't given him his props for playing better? Do you UNDERSTAND how bad he was to start the year? So anything that isn't absolutely horrible was an improvement for bryce....do you get that? Far as throwing dimes yeah the reactions are different but also just maybe.....WE SHOULD BE USE TO IT BY NOW and not still waiting till the back half of YEAR 2. You ever think maybe some folks feel that way? Aidan O connel performance doesn't take away but WE didn't start the circle jerk comparisons of the teams we play and where there ranked against whoever the qb was starting here. When dalton stepped in last year and threw 300 yards and 3 tds against Seattle all we heard was how trash Seattle defense was. He steps in this year and does it again against the Raiders and the bengals but those teams defenses are also trash according to some of you so it doesn't matter. Therefore, you can't blame people for applying that same logic to bryce and if another qb performs even better against that same team. If the roster is so weak no qb should be having good games and if bryce is the best qb on the roster then he should be putting up the better games no matter who we play.

Once again,  I have acknowledged his improvement but let's not try to sit here act like demanding crow, apologies, and retractions is somehow the same thing. It's still to early for that and nothing but built up emotion.

Seriously?  When Dalton started against the Raiders and put up 300 yards and 3 TDs, this board was collectively BUZZING with excitement.  Even a lot of people who get accused of being Bryce "stans" (i.e. people who were simply willing to be a bit more patient with him) were ecstatic at seeing a functional offense for once and were ready to close the book on Bryce.  Who the hell was making excuses and saying it was against a bad defense?  The problem with you guys is you'll take a single standalone comment made by the biggest most radical Bryce fan in the galaxy and then generalize it as "Bryce stans said _________" to be sensational rather than engage with the vast majority of people giving more rational and levelheaded pushback.  I don't even think there are more than one or two people who have a positive emotional attachment to Bryce as an individual...most of the people you call "stans", are people who just generally adopt a more optimistic mindset and therefore are more defensive of our players and staff and will often give them the benefit of the doubt and root for their success (because that's in the team's best interest).  I mean I'm one of those people...and I guarantee you the minute Bryce gets cut (hypothetically), I will have zero care for his career at that point.

It's also ironic that you so freely call people Bryce stans but you pearl-clutch at the notion that he has haters.  It's two sides of the same coin, dawg.  If we're to use your standards, then the bar for being considered a "stan" is subterranean, and the bar for being considered a "hater" is apparently somewhere approaching deep space.  If we were to put your post history up against the Final Boss of all Bryce stans (hell, the 10 biggest Bryce stans in Huddle history), your negative posts would outnumber their positive posts like easily 20:1.  So yeah I have no clue what the criteria is at this point.

Speaking of your post history...anyone can feel free to pop in there to see all the wonderful genuine praise you've been giving Bryce.  I mean they don't even need to look at your post history...you showed an example of what your praise looks like in your post I'm quoting now.  Let's paraphrase: he technically improved.....because he was just that awful early in the year, it's basically impossible not to improve.  And yeah maybe he threw some dimes....IT'S ABOUT TIME!  TOOK LONG ENOUGH!!  You see how even your praise needs to be couched in jabs?  It's like a compliment sandwich that gets jammed in between two slices of insults.

    • PK had 2 bad goals but your Canes red-lens glasses refuse to let you see the parts of his game he needs to improve upon. Islanders give us hell every game, and the Canes lost to lesser teams already, so take nothing for granted. There's also this: Apparently, RBA doesn't think the game is that important, leaving #52 on the bench, if this is the case. Tokarski hasn't played on NHL ice since February 2023.
