He’s also has the 3rd most drops this season.

I hate to say that I was right about Young, because I wasn't.  I stayed loyal through the offseason, but after the second game, I wanted him released or traded for a conditional seventh rounder. If this continues, I will admit that I have no ability to gauge a QBs expectations in the NFL.  None.

So all of a sudden everyone on here loves PFF now? you damn hypocrites I'm disgusted

I still don't care unless I have no clue who the player is. I watch all the Panthers game and still check your threads about scores, good for a laugh nearly always.

Guy with 3 snaps- #1- 88.00

Jewell was all over the place and got a 40 something score, total joke.

I place it along side a random huddles opinion.

The Panthers do rank dead last in receiver grade for the season which is very believable

Man throw out Sean Payton and that’s an incredible correlation between WR efficiency and record. I know we want to hit defense hard, but getting TMac really should be our first pick.

I, too, clearly have no business in a front office.   Couldn't be happier to be (more and more likely) wrong.

One thing I've noticed is now when it looks like a defense is getting ready to blitz on BY I get excited. Seems like he absolutely thrives when blitzed.

It actually makes sense if his little pentium is half of what it was billed as. The fast reads and throws vs blitzes are one of the reasons I'm so excited about him

We do have some Huddlers, however, who are burdened with the pressure of always being right.

Tom Brady talks about this a lot. It’s unreal to hear him talk about pre snap identification and the scenarios he sets up for after the snap. Not to compare bryce to the goat, but if he can be 80% of Brady in the head he will be just fine in the NFL.

If I am not mistaken, we took Bryce because we pegged him to be cerebral, like Russell Wilson or Drew Brees.  I think his first NFL pass was a pick, and then he started second guessing--which is OK when you have an OL and WRs and can get it done in 2.7 seconds.  Lotta folks on here bashing Canales--but Young needed a patient, positive coach.  I still hesitate to sing his praises, but the last 5 weeks have been amazing

The game has clearly slowed down for Young and he’s seeing a lot of things he wasn’t previously

He’s making pre snap adjustments and throwing a lot of balls based on what he’s seeing. It’s not until you watch the all-22 that you can appreciate the strides he’s made these last 5 games. The anticipation/timing of a lot of the throws are impressive

Young isn’t missing guys running wide open down field or throwing interceptions that make you scratch your head. He’s a 2nd year QB and 23 years old.

For the first time it’s starting to look like this pre draft brain talk might be real. I’m not sure what the Panthers end up doing next season but they’d be foolish to get rid of Young. If they want to bring in a vet and have him sit and learn more then that’s fine but with a few more years left on his rookie contract I’m 100% hanging onto him until year 5 for sure

    • It's really only been 2 games. The NO team was so bad their coach was fired after the game and Chuba and the defense carried the team to the win against NY. He's played better but I'm not willing to crown him QB god yet. I want to see more than 2 games or even the rest of the season. I want a full 3rd season with the occasional clunker because it happens to every QB, even the great ones. I just need more than what we've seen to this point.
    • So you proceed to let me have it since I’m asking for it lmfao by saying we’re not talking about a random if….what in your head doesn’t click If statements are not realistic. If statements allow me to say anything and make it sound logical. “If” statements in this forum allow anyone without real statistical evidence or factual proof say anything will or can happen so speak directly to facts without these goofy azz if statements or accept all “if” statements. And to respond to your nonsense he had weapons he had protection. He had a rookie WR playing his first NFL game with Mingo and DJ as his other primary targets. How have either preformed since being traded let’s go deeper into that he had weapons. His top targets(week one) XL 7 targets DJ 6 targets Mingo 5 targets now the rookie has has about 8-9 games before Bryce’s return and we’ve seen XL develop some since the start of the season. And those other TOP weapons have a combined 3 catches in a combined 9 games since being traded. 5 for DJ 4 for Mingo these are the top targets your refer to as who he should have been shining with. Is it all on Bryce or these WRs being actual liabilities and not good players does that matter to you or should Bryce be able to elevate them? Do you really know football or is this my 12 yr old nephew spewing a childish mindset and asking us to accept it as serious football talk.  I’ve just seen the post from @Icege It’s sad after being shown actual facts you don’t know what you should be eating crow about buddy grow tf up. It’s ok to be wrong it doesn’t make you a bad guy you’re just wrong about Bryce . You said quote “Bryce can’t throw down field” do you still feel that way? You said a lot of nonsense that has now been proven wrong but we need to keep waiting right ok kool. I can agree with that we need more much more good play before we fully commit for next season, but to act like the progression being shown isn’t impressive as sht. We’re seeing Bryce play good while waiting on more consistency to crown em but you gotta get out of that dark place because living in denial is a bad place to reside.
    • Thielen is a free agent, isn't he? And regardless we need a younger version of him anyway. I see XL + Coker as our #1 and #2 with Palmer as the #3 in that scenario.
