I'm not gonna have a whining match about who said what and don't care. I shared my perspective initially and you said I was wrong so I responded with you are wrong and why. I also have a comparison just because I can't stand Deion from some past interactions I've had with him and I know you worship his narcissistic behind the scenes psychotic toxic manipulative ass so I thought I would share with you that your boy Shedeur has been stat padding in a weak conference with daddy behind him setting everything up for the Shedeur show and unless some NFL team hires him to be the coach he is going to have one hell of a wake up call in the NFL guaranteed. I have t seen that exact scenario played out but I've seen so many similar situations play out at the high school then college level that this formula they have going is an ending recipe for a rough wake up call and disaster which truly is not fair to his son. I met Shedeur when he was much younger and he seemed to be a very nice young man so I hope it is not such but from what I've seen personally and then over the past number of years on television he will have a very tough transition. 

But you are the expert my brotha and this is your goat to jump into submission so I tap out and yield to you on that debate saying only we shall see in the end. Trevor Lawrence is far from done and that dude has some of the sickest skills I have ever witnessed and that is with saying I have stood up close and personal to some amazing NFL talent when in college. He is right there at the very top of the bets of the best of the best I have seen. Skills he does not lack and it goes long past the look of having the height.

I'm not as familiar with those other guys' college games, maybe they had so many contested targets because they weren't great route runners and separating, but T-Mac's is because he's is CONSTANTLY double and even triple teamed and Fifita has been forcing passes to him because there is nobody else to pass to.

And yet he still is coming down with the ball most of the time

To me, this is just another feather in his cap for why he's such an elite prospect.

Thanks for more facts to help us project what kind of player he might become. This might be a deal breaker for me it seems like he can’t separate in college,  which from that list translates to lack of separation in the big leagues. Being ranked in any category with these guys is a bad group of guys to be grouped with im leaning towards Luther if we go WR and are picking around 8-12ish we need a quick twitch YAC monster. We have two big body WRs on rookie deals we need that Desean Jax or Zay Flowers type of explosive speed to compliment what we already have in X JC and JT all big body WRs we need to compliment that with a speedster doesn’t that seem like a better combo then 4 big body WRs

I hear your reasoning but man everybody on that list basically never gets real separation and that has to correlate somewhat but I can see the positives in being able to always catch contested throws, I just know we need an explosive playmaker to add to our young solid core whoever can help us get back to winning take him so we can get back to enjoying Panther football.

Go watch him play and tell me you think he has separation issues, because he doesn't.

Like I said, I can't speak for those other players when they were in college, but I know separation isn't T-Mac's issue, it's the coverage and the lack of other options so the QB forces the ball to him even when he shouldn't.

Having contested targets because of lack of separation and because of constant double (or triple) teams are two entirely different things. 

You can separate from your initial defender all you want, but when 90% of your routes have safety help over the top and/or linebacker help underneath, even when you separate from the CB, there is still someone else there to contest the pass, which he still makes the catch most of the time anyways.

It can't be forgotten that T-mac and his QB are best friends and have been playing together since they were in the 8th grade.  He's the ultimate safety valve for our QB and it shows during games, any time he has to scramble in the pocket (which is often), he chucks it up to T-Mac no matter how many defenders are around him, which racks up those contested target numbers.

I also just went and looked at the actual tweet, he even followed it up by saying the next 4 names on the list if he kept it going would be Tee Higgins, Marvin Harrison Jr, George Pickens, Ja'Marr Chase and then shorty after that you have DK Metcalf, Brian Thomas Jr, and Drake London.

So basing your opinion on T-Mac based on that initial tweet is obviously not exactly fair, as that number clearly can mean the player either can't get separation, or they're so good that the defense throws so many defenders at them that they rack up contested targets.

Damn that changed everything lol well dam if that's the list I'm definitely changing my tune on how productive he may end up that damn tweet is confusing it's going to be a really interesting draft for us.
