Neither Canales or BY can catch the balls. They're doing everything they can to put players in a situation to get the ball caught and moved down the field. It's on the rest of the players to do their own job.

The one who despite being a “physical specimen” refuses to show strength at the catch point on what could have been a crucial third down conversion? While the player a lot of us wanted with that pick is the focal point of an offense that’s going to be playing in January. Do we keep giving him a pass because he has a funny accent?

XL is a liability right now. Maybe the biggest on this offense.

He is a rookie and looked like it today. He has a lot of potential but is too inconsistent and doesn't play big. I hope Thielen can help XL progress like Dalton did for Young.  Thielen was a force today and showed XL how it is done.
