Even with his “resurgence” he’s still a bottom 10 starter, but hey at least it’s better than “one of the worst starting QBs in league history.”

Yup

He still doesn't have a shot in hell at being even an average starting QB in this league, the better plays right now, the better draft pick we can hopefully get for him in a trade this offseason, although I'm starting to think we won't be moving him.

We easily win today with JT and Coker healthy.  Bryce did well with weapons he had, but the offense needs to be more clinical in the red zone

Having a clutch kicker might help too. Can give your kicker one miss, but the other cost us the game. He gets paid to do one thing!

He's still inconsistent and loses games. Being happy he doesn't get blown out and ragged dolled is a keeper?

How many years until fans realize Young is a sub par starter and a career back up?

I'll keep watching, but he needs to show he can compete with and beat the best when his team puts him in that position. He's easily replaceable with QBs like Andy Dalton, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Cooper Rush, and rookie QBs. We had PJ Walker doing better than Bryce Young in fewer starts.

This is the hard truth.

If he suddenly becomes consistent, I'll recognize that turn around. I'm just not okay with waiting 4 seasons to see just a little bit of consistency at the QB position.

I expect QBs to show they're clutch by the 2nd year too, and we're still not seeing that from Young.

We're all just happy he's better than the garbage play we saw for a while, and among the bottom 10 starters in the league.

I usually avoid confrontation, but go the fug away with your whiny BS.  Bryce has earned quite a bit of respect the last 5 games and especially, the last two.  If you can't give props when they are due, eat a little crow when you're wrong and enjoy "your supposed team" improving, then just move on and save the rest of us your whiny BS.

He did more than enough to win last week and most definitely this week. Are you talking stats, or just being clutch? Because I'm pretty sure Bryce did not miss two field goals and fumble in field goal range in OT (not that FG range would have mattered anyway). IDK man, that TD throw to Thielen at the end is about all you can do to win. Not sure how that is bottom 10.

There is no such thing as a clutch kicker in this league. Look at the Bucs. Their kicker nailed that kick from 50+ to send it to overtime then missed another one closer.

Ultimately you win in those moments that shift momentum. When you need to impose your will. When we needed to do that on 4th and 1 twice we opted to take the ball out of Bryce Young's hands.

We are getting in the territory of if they decide to move on the media backlash would be insane. People forget bryce has been protecting since he came in the league. Anybody that doesn't deal with directly or outside the team thinks he is the second coming. Thats what it is.  The pressure would be the same as it was when they were pushed to draft him. On the off hand if lets say it does happen you better get something worth it back.

He has been astronomically better since coming back. One huge weakness I still see is his inability to connect down the sideline with receivers that had their DB beat. Those are huge homerun balls and we connect on 0 of them

We do need to improve there, but part of it is on the WRs. 83 slowed up on one late in the game.

We did hit on one to Coker in the Denver game. Great catch on that one.

I have no clue what else Bryce Young could have done in these past two games to give our team a better chance to win. He’s avoiding sacks, taking care of the ball, and using his playmaking prowess to extend drives throwing to a very mediocre crop of receivers. This does not mean he’s the next Steve Young. But to see so many of our own “fans” still trying to act like he’s terrible and hurting us is just wild to see. This is the most promising development for our franchise in the past five years. And so many on here are trying to say he’s a terrible player and this is a fluke or whatever. Why are you doing this? To tell people on the internet you were always right about this?

There are obviously other variables at play, thats a given. That's why I said you can allow one miss. No matter, one of those two misses  goes through the uprights this is a different forum. A 38 yard FG should be automatic, I get it though, we have to learn to play through adversity to win. But, it would be nice if kicking was not one of them. That being said, we as Panthers fan should feel encouraged right now. I'm not taking anything away from the direction the team seems to be moving. You have to learn to win in every phase of the game.

Definitely a team effort. I feel like when Bryce drops a dime the receiver can't make the catch, or he sails it. Just frustrating but I mean we've made MASSIVE strides looking back to the beginning of the year.

He's been getting better every week.

It's exactly what we've been hoping to see.

Will he keep getting better? He's giving us no reason to believe he won't be.

Haters are going to keep hating but one by one they'll either just shut up or eat their crow like a big boy....or just keep finding ways to look ignorant.

Facts. I mean...plenty of people thought Cam was holding us back, or at least didn't want him
