My take as someone who watched from the lower level 50 yard line.  Yes Bryce throws to open receivers.  He knows the playbook really well.   My issue is he doesn't throw outside the hashes and when he does he is wildly inconsistent.  I simply think his style of of game will not win 8n the nfl.   He seems to be the master of underneath passes but pushing the ball downfield is an issue

I'm genuinely not trying to be abrasive here but to even compare the two situations is an absolute slap in the face to Cam Newton and what he brought to this sorry franchise culture wise.

The people who thought Cam was holding us back were total morons who bit off way more than they could chew and got hit in the face so hard by reality when they finally got their wish of him being gone.

But Cam Newton holds the record for rushing touchdowns for christ sake. He was never holding this team back. The same unfortunately cannot be said for Bryce Young yet.

On like 3 passes at least he was 5 yards over throwing guys.  His mechanics are still complete poo especially when pressured.   Disagree all you want but go back and watch and report back

I won't disagree he missed a couple but come back to me when Moore or Legette hold onto one out wide.

Teams will catch on too. He has been better, but you pretty much had to throw all the tape out prior to the benching. Canales did him a huge favor on that. Going forward there will be new analytics collected on bryce and new gameplans. Thats the point where he has to show real growth.
