Bryce Young the Vocal Leader?

This is him feeling confident and making the team his. No going back now. Those stinker games won't be tolerated.

Yeah in a way he called himself out. He has to now. But that psychology degree might be showing. He had to ball or die anyway, now he has more support behind him.

Good for Bryce and team.

That said, I think the media tends to sensationalize things a bit much and by the end of the week, the guy that was benched and thought to be a bust is carrying a walk on water narrative around his neck.

I like that he is saying the right things to his teammates and also trying to legitimize himself as an NFL QB but the dramatization kind of cheapens the whole thing for me personally.

Bryce has had this story of being a great leader and a person who his teammates love.

Coaches and media all said some form of after talking with Bryce or spending time with him and it was obvious the type of person and leader he was.

I don't see it from his demeanor and public persona but he might be the type of guy who's much different in person.  With so many people saying some version of this I hope the fans get a glimpse of it some time.

I wish all of this wasn't after a loss.

Hopefully good things are around the corner but we've already done this once in this same season. After the convincing win over the Raiders the locker room was on cloud nine and the fluff couldn't get from the team to the fanbase fast enough. With that in mind. I'll just take this one game at a time. Now let's beat the Bucs.

This was an emotional game for them. Nobody wants to be a loser and to be able to compete with the reigning champs is an emotional experience. I think Bryce’s speech seems to have been exactly the right time to make sure they continue to believe that they can play against anyone and win any game

I still worry about his arm strength limiting what we can do. After this game, teams might not come in and expect a cakewalk.

All that said, I hope he’s our Alex Smith who we can cheaply build around and be competitive while we look for our Mahomes. I just don’t see him being someone that could legitimately contend versus someone who could be good enough to win the poo fest that is the NFC South.
