Is it too early to lock up Horn to a long term deal?

I would say there are a lot of factors at play here. While it is wonderful that he has been healthy all year, it is also the outlier, technically.

Additionally, in his very limited playing time he has largely had flashes of elite play but not consistently.

It's hard to envision a scenario we don't extend him.....except if he wants a top 10 CB contract. That's going to be a tough pill to swallow.

He’s constantly locking up the opposite teams number 1 receiver and very rarely being thrown at.

he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else

And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.

should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
