I keep thinking we are going to draft a dude later in the draft in the mold of what DC wants/likes in a qb.  And we are also going to probably sign a vet

I'm just saying he'll likely be on the roster and he's going to get a shot at starting.  A free agent signing will be Andy Dalton tier, so it will be a push at best most likely.  And a late pick shouldn't be starting early on.

I'm at around 50% so it will take him playing at or near this level the rest of the way before I'm convinced he could be worth the investment. Sunday he played like he has and can play so he just had to keep it up. He hasn't done that since being drafted. Last season nearly ruined any hopes he may have had make it in the league. I'm proud of how he's taken the benching and am pulling for him to take the league by storm.

I am part of the way there but ready to turn the car around at anytime.  Just need a body of work rather than a one/two outliers.  I do have hope but hope is not a strategy.

To OP's original point, I definitely give kudos/credit to Bryce for handling this with grace and trying to claw back some relevancy.  Whether it ends up well for him in the end, he has seemingly handled the situation admirably and responded to the adversity in a good way.

He's getting his confidence back and it's showing.

He showed me more ability this last game than I realized he had. Good thing, but needs to show me consistency.

The turnaround in the person that he has been is what has really stuck out to me. I’m serious when I say that he looks like someone who had some personal ish going on, and whatever it was, is now finally made good and they can go back to being themselves again.

If we continue to get that level of play consistently… we can win with that. I actually long for the day where I can confess how wrong I have been.

He definitely had a great game. Not crowning him yet, tho.

Hilariously, this was his worst of the last three games based on ESPN's "QBR" - 46.4, while last week was 58.4 and the NO game was 47.3... hahahahaha.

I don't even understand QBR. Anyone with eyes would grade that better than that.

admittedly, that 75% is pushing it for me. but i really like what i've been seeing. he's passing my eye test. i'm hoping he can keep it up.

There are things he can do to fug it up, his margins are small. That sack or strip sack, once they hit the ground it is anybody's ball. For instance. He did do a good job with keeping defenders off the ball and by a nice margin but some were close. It is a game of inches at times.

I usually hate watching him play, but I enjoyed watching this game almost as much as the Vegas game. So let's see that every week.

Did you guys see new plays? Maybe that weren't on film? I thought I did. I hope we have plenty more because NFL eats up what you show them.

Stuff could get a little harder when they get more film on some more things.

I know it’s PFF so grain of salt, but I just read he’s been the 5th highest graded passer over the last 3 games played. And that matches my eye test at least. Felt like NO and NY he played well, especially for what he was asked to do. But this week, man it’s the first time since prime Cam days that I felt confident that we were going to be able to move the ball through the air on offense. It felt good

I didn't feel confident. I was surprised to see the ball traveling farther than 12 yards downfield and being accurate and on time. Once. Then twice. Then a third time. Still surprised at the throw. But keep it up.
