What I've noticed from Panther interviews...

It seems like every interview with panther that I read, they all seem to think the area of most need is at the D-line position. Beason said it on his live chat and Chris Harris says it on the carolina huddle article. I would assume that They have the most insight to the team, you know, cause they play with each other, and they seem to all agree that the panthers need the most help on the D-line. Maybe they just aren't sure about what the young guys are capable of yet, but that lack of confidence speaks volumes to me. This is why I would not be surprised if we trade for uminyora or go after a DE or DT early in the draft.

Just an observation I felt like sharing. here's a picture of our puppy, Moose, wearing a panther bandanna if you don't care about what I have to say:

I think that we can infer that these comments are because we have all new starters...and young guys on the DL. We still have strong vets at every other position. I think everyone is nervously optimistic about the young DLinemen that we have.

Qb...need a vet back-up

RB...set

OL...draft late for depth

LB...love our starters. Need to take a mid rounder for depth (especially SLB)

Safety...solid

CB...depends on the Marshall situation. He stays and we are solid...but would take someone for depth.

DL....two good young DE's, but they are YOUNG. Brayton is a solid player, but is not spectacular and needs to be upgraded IN THE FUTURE. I actually like Leonard and Tyler, but they are unproven.

I want to see WR, DT, and LB in the first three rounds. Which come first depends on the value at each position on the board when we draft.

I can also see an OT as early as the third if somebody big's there. The FO's gotta start worrying if Otah will ever be able to play 16 games.

I like what little I've seen out of that guy from the Bahamsas.

I hear after the 1st round the talent for OL drops off as far down as the 5th...
