PFF grades

You guys are crazy I am super impressed by Jaycee. It isn’t easy to be a shutdown corner on a bad defense. He has been more than solid.  Here is what he said about the penalties, I almost think that talking to the refs just put a spotlight on him

3. WR David Moore: 82.4
4. WR Deven Thompkins: 72.0
5. RT Taylor Moton: 70.7

Young’s 83.9 overall offensive grade now stands as his career-high. He completed 21 of his 35 throws for a season-best 263 yards and a touchdown.

Sanders was leading the Panthers with 49 receiving yards before his exit in the second quarter. Moore, meanwhile, finished with a game-high 81 receiving yards (his most since 2020) and a score.

This may sound weird but I'm low-key excited for the D in the future (if we keep evero of course). You can see some of his pieces coming together. He's just lacking the talent at some positions to make it work. Jewell and Wonnum, tho.. damn they are kinda exciting. And ofc Clowney is doing Clowney things...

refs weren't letting him play. horn was targeted all game. that's the only way they stood a chance. horn otherwise would have shut them down.

We got no one on defense......and yet QBs certainly don't avoid going at Horn this year.

I think he is still overly aggressive.  Which means there is a lot of reward potentially there if you are a QB/WR.  Which is why he has given up a lot of TDs and can be penalty heavy.

I think if refs let him maul he is tough.  Which he proves.  But I think Horn is always a little more susceptible to the big play given how he plays.

I also think Horn is a true man corner.  You need to be running tons of man.   I don't like him as much in zone.  Nnamdi back in the day was a great man corner. Best in the league.  Meh zone corner.

Horn plays best in man coverage no doubt. They really just need to let him shadow their opponent’s best WR.
