BY played way beyond just "OK" today. Tommy Tremble holds onto the ball in the end zone and the Panthers win today.

I would venture to say the only reason the Panther's were even close was of his performance. It sure as heck wasnt because of the defense or rushing.

That’s not how football works.  If Tremble holds onto the ball, Carolina would have still been trailing and quarter and a half of football would have then followed.

Bryce was fine today.  There has been nothing about him that says you would want to build around him and make him your guy. KC isn’t really a great team this year either.  They have a great record.   A crap team like the Raiders probably hangs with them next week too.

WTF is up with these refs.

A clear fumble was ruled down by the refs. Then they missed the challenge flag.

Stuff like that is why many believe the NFL can be rigged. Either these refs are blind or they just don't know what they are doing.

They also called a facemask on the Panthers when it clearly wasn't.

I always thought the rumors about the Chiefs getting good calls was just that but am not too sure after today.

Forget about last year and everything that transpired. Bryce has to be looked at and evaluated as a second year rookie. It’s only fair given the crap situation he was in.  His performance since regaining the starting job  is showing the promise we all hoped for at the beginning of the season.  If he continues on this trajectory the rest of the year I am confident he will be back as a starter next year and, frankly it would be the right move.

It goes beyond stats, he probably should have had at least 3 TDs against one of the top defensive NFL units. He led the team today, showed tremendous poise and leadership, delivered some big time throws.

Future is bright folks!

The problem will always be the low ceiling. The best Bryce Young will never be a Josh Allen/Jackson/Cam/etc....

I thought putting more points on the scoreboard was how you win.

You can’t just cherry pick a missed opportunity…put it on the board after the fact and claim we win if it happened.  If you change a play in the 3rd q….everything else that happened wouldn’t stay the same.

If Tremble caught that ball in the 3rd…we would have still been behind at that time.

II told folks 2 weeks ago that Bryce has been making improvements in several components of his game like moving in the pocket and stepping up into pressure instead of bailing into sacks. Today he improved in anticipation and throwing to spots trusting his guys would be there. He made some fantastic throws under extreme duress having to throw the ball before the receiver had made his move to get open.  He is developing chemistry with his receivers and they are playing for him. He looked like he belonged on the same field as Mahomes today. If this improvement continues he will be our guy or get us some good compensation. A win in either case.

The main point I am trying to make is Bryce made the throw and it should have been a TD. I just don't see how you can say he was just "okay" today.

Here's some of what he did:

Drove down the field in 44 seconds for a score at the end of the 1st half.

Led the Panthers on a 9 minute drive to start the 3rd finishing off with a TD pass to Moore.

That's 10 straight points.

In the fourth he drove the field leading to 3 and then on the very next drive drove the field leading to a TD to tie the game. Again, that's 10 straight points.

I am not saying it was perfect - but surely that is better than just okay
