Forget about Bryce, Dave Canales is who we should be talking about.

The playcalling seems suspect at times because there are certain plays we literally cannot run because of the physical limitations of our QB.

The offense looked completely different with Dalton under center but unfortunately he ran out of steam in like 2 games. There were plays he called that I’ve never seen ran for Bryce. Bryce just lacks that type of arm talent.

It looks like he created a completely new offense for Bryce now compared to what he was calling when Bryce started the season.

Let Dave pick his QB and let Bryce and the new guy battle it out in camp. It should have already happened this past offseason.

I wonder how things would have gone for Dalton if he hadn't lost Thielen after the 3rd game of the season. AT may be past his prime in terms of speed, bur he still has his hands and ability to get open. I think his presence was sorely missed after the Raider win. At this stage of his career he is they type of WR QB's like to have as a security blanket.

I agree with you on Bryce's arm. As some one pointed out earlier, he still hasn't demonstrated the ability to throw an out route consistently. BY's TD passes tend to come on short passes. Our receiving core this season really hasn't score TD's on explosive plays when he is behind center. I don't know if its possible at this time in his career, but our team would be a lot better if BY could improve his arm strength/throwing power this offseason.

I don't understand this. He threw a 10+ yarder to David Moore on an out route yesterday. I mean DMoore went straight, then 90° to the sideline. He caught the ball about 5 yards from the sideline. Is that not an out route? Yeah, wasn't to the sideline, but if BY had thrown to the sideline it would have been overthrown by 5 yards. I don't get it. Either y'all just make poo up, I have no clue what an out route is, you aren't really talking about out routes, or y'all have never actually watched a game. I'm 99% confident that wasn't the first out route I've seen BY throw to. I mean, they are very common routes in the NFL.

Neither of the throws you just showed are remotely similar to the TD pass to Thielen.

Please show me a Bryce TD pass into double coverage that traveled more than 20 yards in the air. The answer is you can’t.

Bryce Young in 24 career games:

16 touchdowns

Kyle Allen in 13 games in 2019:

17 touchdowns

Safe to say there's still questions about his passing ability for many people. Unless you're a self described "Stan" on twitter.

The defense played great yesterday. If Bryce’s one TD pass is enough to win the game, than the defense shutting down Mahomes in the fourth and keeping it close all day is the same.

people are willing to throw all the other players in offense and defense, and even fans not showing up, under the bus to prop up Bryce. Yesterday was a team effort.

The special teams allowed the run back to get so many yards on the opening game kickoff was a back breaker. That to me was a huge difference.

Give me the rest of the season at the level of yesterday and I'll sign myself up as a Twitter Stan. Until then, I just hope he keeps improving and we bring in competition next year.

That was literally a 40 yard pass lol. Bryces dime to legette was further with just as much accuracy as this throw. Once again Bryce can make every throw Dalton can.

No one is saying that Bryce literally can't throw an out route, or even push the ball 40 yards downfield. However, at the NFL level many of passes are lacking the VELOCITY to get the ball to the receiver ahead of good DB.

I think we all would agree that BY looked a lot better yesterday. He placement was spot on for most of his down field throws. But, our passing game would be sick if BY could "consistently "connect on a deep post, a deep in-route, or a seam route deep downfield the middle of the field.

That said, we're all hoping he builds on his solid performance against the Chiefs. It really would benefit the franchise if he could live up to his draft position and allow us to use the 2025 draft to rebuild the defense.
