He saw a receiver running up the line with defenders backs turned and lobed it up giving his guy a chance. That’s a good play right!? I mean if we’re looking for progress it’s there. That’s better than the alternative.

I'll take any progress I can get. If he made a good play then he gets credit for it. But we are and have lowered the bar here. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging that.

Yeah I don't get why they don't run him off a rub, fade to the back pylon and go play basketball for it. I know he's done well on those in-cuts in the RedZone but let him go play physical for it sometimes.

Everything is compressed in the red zone and the panthers generally go quick 1 reads towards the back of the end zone.

it minimizes defenses ability to make a play and doesn’t let blitzes freak Bryce out. Unfortunately it requires a lot of timing an precision and perfect passes and whelp

The thing is, Bryce isn't just throwing up prayers in the throw people are talking about. He threw to a specific place on the field for JT and it was like a 30+ yard gain. Bryce has had some awful throws before but his passes have been largely on target today (and he's definitely stretched the field). JT was NOT injured in that play either. He was injured in a later play where he fought for an extra few yards and lept someone, got spun out of bounds and landed on his head 😞

Specific part of the field or not when it is basically a punt arc on the ball it will be contested. It’s just a blind luck deal. Is your guy going to get it or will the other two guys get it?
But Wilson did that same hopeful poo and got away with it. So….

To be very honest, it looked like young was trying to throw the ball away and it didn’t get there

just as lucky it didn’t get intercepted

Huh? You and I were seeing different plays... If we're talking about the same one. Young had a defender bearing down on him, he was clearly throwing to JT. He also may have seen the holding before the throw given where he threw the ball

If his helmet was off, it's likely precautionary. Hoping they don't see a fracture

They didn't take his helmet off, but that is normal in any fear of that kind of injury... So hopefully it is just precautionary... But it did look real bad 😕

Wilson had an absolute hose and could extend players forever. Russell Wilson bullshit was a back breaking 50 yard bomb on 4th and game.

bryce’s blimps are passed that go higher than distance covered and require a receiver to run 40 yards to gain 20.

this is an agonizing offense to watch.

Some truth there for sure. But some of his throws have that arc but they're going to an area of the field decided by the route. He had a similar looking throw to Moore earlier.
