Serious Thoughts Fellas What numbers would Bryce..

What numbers would Bryce have to put up in these next 7 games for you to really believe he deserves another year? We had this discussion in the barbershop today with die hard but non homer fans we came up with 225+ passing yards in 4 out of 7 games. With 3 out of 7 games with 2+ TDs. We could use a little more passing yards to show he can get it done but with Chubba rushing like he is and if Brooks comes in and contributes unlike Miles that should take away passing opportunities but we still need him to hit these benchmarks to stay on the team in my opinion. I need serious replies to what's it going to take the last 7 games from the former number one overall pick to be our QB next year?

His passing chart needs to look like a good NFL quarterback. With no red dots and plenty of downfield completions.
The team has to run an offense that doesn’t rely on screens and flairs and rollouts.
I don’t think that is going to happen.

Lolll I see I see, we just thought with AT coming back and his current progression he might make plays and actually put ip good yardage especially with a dynamic rushing attack. But I see he’s getting the Daniel J. treatment in the near future.

Understandable because you can definitely stuff the stat sheet with dump off and screen plays we needed to be a little more detailed as to what we are looking for the last 7 games.

Numbers he isn't capable of putting up on a consistent basis. I've already seen enough. He just doesn't have the talent to be a viable starting QB in the NFL.

He isn’t even capable of putting the numbers I’d like to see in a game let alone on a consistent basis. Dude just doesn’t have it

This has been asked multiple times throughout the season... Most of the reasonable fans frustrated by Bryce's performance just want to see him string together consecutive performances as well as be who uplifts the team when they're struggling sometimes.

However, when it comes to the folks that seem to hate him, they're never going to be happy. That's why they won't say what their threshold is... because it doesn't exist. Instead it's, "Oh, I know he'll never hit 4000yds, 40+ TDs, under 5 INTs, and a winning Powerball ticket... But I know the future and that he'll never do that so tank tank tank."

Honestly you'll know it when you see it. Stats can lie. But he for me has to pass the eye test. He'll miss throws. The wr will drop balls. But you know a starting qb when you see it. We need to win bc of him. Not in spite of him.

this.  Stats lie.  I could throw a 99 yard TD pass to XL.  Put if it is a pop pass behind the line of scrimmage and he runs for essentially 105 yards for the score, breaking 5 tackles along the way.....that has nothing to do w/ me.

I’m glad you said that because I was wondering what we wanted to see and some people definitely don’t have a straight forward answer and now I understand completely. I feel like most and I’m totally ready to move on from Bryce it’s been embarrassing watching him play some days but if he’s pulling it together with a WRs that work for him bigger targets very athletic guys grabbing his high passes can he blossom similar to Tua. Miami got him some top notch players and excellent coaching and he turned into a Top 15 QB I feel like we’re trending that way that’s why I was wondering is there a level of performance Bryce needs to be welcomed back next season.

There isn't anything he can do that would prevent me from drafting another QB early and blowing up the QB room ie goodbye Andy Dalton and goodbye Jake Plummer. If Bryce is here come next year during camp he can compete for and earn a spot like everyone else.
