Lol. Same thing we have always been during the Tepper era.

Game one against a very good defense, how about just look better than Miles Sanders? Let's start there.

baby steps.

i don't think it will take very much, though.

it was encouraging to hear some of the other players talking about Brooks and how they are excited to see him in the game. Apparently they like what they have been seeing in practice. XL was saying that he and Chuba are pretty similar, but Brooks is faster.

i don't think they've ever said anything good about Miles.

I think we are gonna see him take Sanders' snaps, basically. If he doesn't look better than that, whoa.

Seems right. I think people seem to think sanders was being used more than he was. Sanders has 38 carries and 26 rec targets to date. that amounts to roughly 3-4 carries a game and 2-3 targets a game. 5-6 touches sounds about right.

i'm going ooal.

12 carries, 75 yards (i see him breaking of for a big one), and a TD

5 catches, 25 yards

yes....100 all purpose yards and a TD.

and that's just getting him started.

Considering the defense we are playing that would be one of the best rookie debuts for a RB in franchise history, so I quite highly doubt that.

It would be great to see, though.

If he is doing that by Game 17, that's just fine. That's successful.

If Brooks gets injured then it just is what it is. It wouldn't make the top 20 disasters of the season. Also, he's a RB. They do get injured at higher rates than most positions.

If he gets injured on a very limited snapcount after taking half the season off it was probably never going to work out anyway

I'm excited for him to play, no matter the touches.  Only optimism about this kid.  True dual threat - don't expect a big sample size this week but it's good to see.

i think he's going to prove himself to be a really good target. that's where i think he's really going to shine.

I'm pretty excited about it. I think he kills it.

And seriously, fug you injury asshats

Yep

Here’s hoping

one thing about Canales that i think needs to improve

he does a total ‘tell’ on the play call  with  his  personnel groupings

The  Chief’s  defense is quite good

this game is also a ‘tell’ on Canales…how good of a play caller is he..how good of a HC against one of the best coaching staffs in the league

…this game isnt just a barometer for Young….if we pay attention, we will learn a lot about Dave

Looking forward to seeing him. We're going to have to lean heavily on the run game and if we could have two guys running like Chuba has been, then we're going to be in good shape going forward.

Probably no way we're winning this week, but I just hope we can show a team that is moving in the right direction out there.

Little victories, those would be nice.

But good luck to the young man. I hope he's brave enough to perform up to his capabilities. Coming off an injury is tough on the confidence.

Honestly, we are gonna need to pass in this game. This is the 3rd ranked rushing defense but the 16th ranked passing defense.

So our strength is going against their strength.
