Ever seen a bear in the jungle?

Kill or get killed im taking the lion every time. They are smart and trained to kill. Bears just use their size to defend themselves. They run it they hear gunshots. A lion isn't running from a fight unless it's something massively bigger like an elephant and the bear is just not big enough for a lion to back down.

You realize lions don't live in the jungle, right? LOL

I'm telling you, the Romans actually did this crazy poo and the lions died. The bears almost always won despite the foe.

Pound for pound badass but it's gonna die against a bear, tiger, lion, etc.

how do we judge snakes, frogs, and insects? Venom and poison take down big ones easy..... then it opens to Micro size disease and bacteria.

Bears beat a elephant?

That I don't believe.

They probably didn't do that. They were psychos but they generally tried to setup fairly even fights. If one animal was significantly bigger there would be multiple of the smaller. So you'd have say three panthers vs. a bear. Then boys were wild. LOL

First find a team named after amphibians or reptiles.

And dolphins, they are bad asses what they feed of fish schools. They work in pods, like a school. Multiple dolphins and it is orchestrated, coordinated.

I was fishing a school of seatrout in a kayak and here they come, right in on my school. I definitely had to leave they could have knocked me off that yak pretty quick. 6 or 8 of them.

Gotta watch out for these too.

I think for the lion to have a chance he/she would have to go for the jugular on a quick strike.  If it misses the bear would simply break it in half or take a bite out of its skull like a kid on a tootsie roll pop.  In the bear's case its only gonna take one lick to get to the center...

Probably the best thread in a while though.  Kudos to OP.

I mean, if you die immediately but the animal you bit dies later I'd still say you lost.

snake would still be alive and you even touch some frogs you soon feel the effects and within minutes you're in bad shape.

mosquitos kill more humans(2nd in food chain) than every animal combined.

I think that's pretty good.  Got no issue w/ Jaguar over Panther.  Think Jaguars got the strongest bite of all the cats and the Panther doesn't got the weight of the others.

I think the Dolphin is the one I'd dig in on as being misplaced.   I'd put it over at least the bottom 2 birds

Panthers are just melanistic variants of a couple big cat species. So odd are, our Panther IS a Jaguar. So unless we're assuming our panther happens to be a black leopard, the panther being ranked lower than the jaguar is just patent racism.

And a dolphin would absolutely demolish any of the birds on that list. Unless we're assuming the fight has to be on the land for some reason:

I have many methodological qualms with this rating scale!
