Big news that could dramatically affect our offensive production for the rest of the season.

I know Scott Fitterer was on record as being a big believer in Ian Thomas. I'd like to know his former righthand man Dan Morgan's thoughts on if Ian fits the "dawg" mold in his eyes.

he's probably a guy who tries really hard to be that big presence in the locker room and on the sidelines, but just can't be counted on to produce. he probably makes them want to believe. hopefully we're good moving on. i know i am.

Guys I want to apologize this one is on me.

I took out a hit on Ian three months ago. I just wanted someone to Nancy Kerrigan him.

I tried to save some money and go local and the guy just kept dragging it out. Always an excuse. Never picked up his phone, you know how it is.

I should have just sucked it up and hired some Eastern Europeans but you know how money is.

Again, my bad. I’m learning. Next time I want to take out a panther I’ll make sure the guy is at least polish.

I don't believe that this has been posted. If it has I apologize.

The Carolina Panthers have exited the bye week with a handful of roster moves that may have more impact down the stretch than on their Week 12 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The biggest news it that they have placed tight end Ian Thomas on injured reserve again with another calf injury. This one was suffered during the Week 10 win against the New York Giants in Munich. Thomas started two of the five games he appeared in this season, with three receptions for seven yards on six targets. This may be the end of Thomas’s time in the Carolinas as his contract is up after this season and younger athletes like Tommy Tremble and Ja’Tavion Sanders have taken over the tight end rotation.

Thomas started two of the five games he appeared in this season, with three receptions for seven yards on six targets.

I know KC is tough, but I was hoping we could at keep the game close...or even pull off an upset...with Bryce leading our dynamic passing attack. All of optimism has vanished with yesterday's news. How can we pull off an upset without our most dangerous receiving option on the field? How will the Panthers replace Ian's production this season and everything else that Ian Thomas brings to the table? 🙄

Love the thread title

The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
