Carolina may not "be sold" on young (per athletic)

I keep saying this steelers never had any intention of starting fields long term over wilson. They were always going to Wilson no matter what happened. I'm not completely out on fields being a good starter in the league. Moore had his best year with fields.

I have no idea what our FO will do this off season. I will ask you guys the following question. If you were in Dave Canales' shoes, would you want to bet you future on Bryce Youngs ability to play QB in the NFL?  I Wouldn't.

You'd think if anyone were in a position to know, it's Canales. Got the inside hands on perspective on the proposition. I'd bet how he bet.

You're blaming Jaycee Horn because we gutted the defense to reallocate significant resources to the offense in order to attempt to make Bryce Young look like a real QB?

That boy wasn’t on the field before the defense was gutted so he wasn’t even a factor then if you want to keep it buck Mr. Red. Get Bryce dick out your mouth everything ain’t about him.

We spent 150 million dollars in free agency to put two massive linemen in front of Bryce to the detriment of the defense and you say "get his dick out your mouth everything ain't about him".

Stay mad.

Just curious. Are you suggesting they should have spent that money on defense instead of offense? Because the only defensive player that walked and was worth bringing back was Luvu. And they tried to get him back. He wanted to leave. Paying Burns $30M a year would have been the worst thing they could have done. Even worse than moving up to draft Bryce. That contract would have been crippling to the cap, and for a mediocre player. And I haven't done the math, but it seems there are just as many new players on defense as there are on offense. Injuries have been the biggest issue with that side of the ball.

Improving the worst unit on the team should have always been the priority. Plus a stout o line will attract offensive players like that vet QB everyone wants. Chuba is having a career year. And yes, even Bryce Young is showing some signs of improvement. Change doesn't always happen overnight. But those were the right moves.
