    • I dont think there is a bias against the panthers but with that said I do feel nfl referees influence games.  It doesnt take much at all to change the outcome of nfl games.  Just call a penalty when a drive is stalling to extend the drive.  To make it look even call a penalty against the other team but make sure to call it at a time that it doesnt help them or hurt them from scoring.  This way penalties look even but actually they are not even at all. Would love to see someone follow nfl penalties and look at them as how they effected the game vs if they were just called but had no effect.  I think gambling has effected it alot I am not conviced alot of nfl games are not influenced maybe not completely rigged but influenced by controversial calls.  The chiefs with swifts massive following seem to get the most beneficial calls of any team ever.
    • Very cool perspective, thanks for sharing. Aside, my family and I took our first international trip last year.  Went to England and Scotland for two weeks.  We have never been out of the states (I'm 47 btw). We came away changed in our perspective of the people here in the US.  The people in the UK were so polite, genuine, and helpful and we weren't only in tourist areas.  We were in the country quite a bit - I rented a car and drove a lot through all the isles of Scotland.  Anyway, now we're considering relocating there (if able) one day.  My oldest daughter, who is a junior at Clemson majoring in Vet Science, now wants to apply to Vet School in Edinburgh, Scotland (not to mention it's a FRACTION of the cost of US vet schools).  When I asked others, they basically said that most people in Europe are like that and the US is just...different. There are tradeoffs living in Europe (roads, hospitals, prices, WALMART), but the people...amazing. All that to say, yes if you can get to an international game, go for it!  I think I'll add it to my bucket list too!
    • Projecting talent to the next level is always dicey, even more so at QB. And now with the rookie wage scale we're seeing more highly drafted QBs because the downside is so much lower. You're no longer having to pay top picks like future HOFs so go ahead and swing big. The risk/reward structure favors the bold move. Just don't trade a poo ton of draft capital to draft a guy with none of the physical traits.
