Winning is how you build a winning culture. It is quite literally the only way to build a winning culture.

There is no way to spin winning games as a net negative this season. It's not a draft where you are likely to net an elite QB and the pool is limited with elite talent. If you end up with a top 10 pick(most likely we will) then just get an above average starter that is worth signing to a second contract. BPA and improve the roster.

You can do all that while winning games as a cellar dweller.

Winning 2 games in a row doesn't make you a winner. If we finish this season with a losing records do you consider that winning?

Cmon guys if you played sports you should know you only build winning habits by doing it consistently. You think a few wins in the 7 years under Tepper is changing the culture. We are far from that. This team still stinks in reality.

Crazy how fans will let a 2 game win streak vs 2 bad teams let them think we are changing the culture. Let's see how we stack up against the Chiefs on Sunday. If we building a winning culture it will show on the scoreboard.

Nah man I'm not going for that. Winning culture is far from the truth with this team. We would have to win out to get me to believe that.

You do realize that you have to win games to become a "winner" right? That's literally how that happens.

So wishing for us to continue to lose just makes more losing culture.

Yes win games consistently for a long period of time.

You think a few wins going to change the culture overnight?

How is this even a discussion with the record we have?

If wins vs the Raiders/Saints/Giants is giving you hope YIKES!

I think the problem is that you might be too dumb to understand thaf you don't go from 0-5 wins to 10+ wins. It's a progression. You want a look at how that happens? Look at the Detroit Lions.

Dan Campbell's first year in 2021 was 3-13-1. In your eyes(clearly), "OH THEY WILL NEVER HAVE WINNING CULTURE. TERRIBLE TEAM. THE WORST. I DON'T SAY IT, OTHER PEOPLE DO. THE NATIONAL MEDIA SAYS IT."

However, you look at the last six games of that season, they went 3-3. Then cut to 2022(after another good draft), now they are 9-8. The "winning culture" is accelerating, guys are buying in. Now 2023-2024 they have gone 20-6 so far.

You don't go from zero to a hundred, especially when you have been bad for a while(last Lions winning season before Campbell: 2017).

You build winning culture by.....shocker.....winning. So to just throw away wins and say it doesn't matter is utterly foolish. Wins don't happen by accident.

There is no debate with you. You have to call people dumb just be they don't agree with you. I can tell you never played sports in your life. You have a loser mentality.

Win games consistently is how you build winning habits. We haven't done that in a long time. A few wins doesn't change that point blank.

Nothing else to talk about here buddy.

I can tell that you have never played sports above a recreational level because you are pushing to tank for a draft pick. That's completely counter to all hope of building a winning culture.

It's how you end up being a bad franchise for 10+ years.

Players want to win. Coaches want to win. These are professionals that have pride in what they do. None of those people in that locker room give a fug about a draft pick on any game day.

Bro what are you even talking about.

I'm having a conversation with a dude who thinks we are building winning habits because we won 2 games. Have you even been a Panthers fan for more than a year?

We have been losers ever since Tepper took over. You can't convince others we are building winning habits because we best 2 bad teams. When we lose vs the Chiefs are we still building winning habits?

I played football. You have to win consistently for a long period of time to build winning habits. A losing team with a losing record is not building winning habits.

Get it through your thick skull!

Yes, I am sure your years of Madden really helped you learn how to tank for draft picks.

No need to get sensitive on me buddy. We can disagree and be adults about it.

Can we still be friends and move on from this discussion?

What discussion? You have no concept of "building." It isn't possible to even have one.

Sad because there are ample examples in professional and college football of the path to going from a cellar dweller to a winning program and very, very few of them involve intentional losing nor just walking over to the win switch and flipping it from OFF to ON.

It takes time, effort and a shitload of hard work by the players and coaches you just want to lay down and keep losing.

You win. I admit defeat. All hail Kungfoodude!

Winning habits come from putting in te work while you arent doing so well.

You learn to walk by trying and falling. You learn to succeed by trying and failing. You learn to win by trying and losing. Eventually the work pays off

People don't automatically become successful. They become successful not by succeeding, but by putting in the work and learning which then eventually leads to success when all the other things you need click into place.

All of this takes being able to put in the necessary work whether things are going well or not, developing character for the individual and culture for the organization.

It's work, ability, and attitude that helps you become succesful. You develop an attitude that tells you to work hard and keep trying while you develop the attitude and as a team you do that together while you work to get everyone on that same page. That's building a culture that will win, a winning culture.

You don't become a winning team by plugging in one player. You become a winning team by getting all the players you have on the team in the same page with the right hard working attitude while they learn to play together.

You know what you don't do? Quit. Ever.

    • I agreed on drafting a QB is a gamble regardless of a good draft class or not. I agreed on you have to keep trying to get your QB. I was just telling you the possible reason why people want the Panthers to pass on a QB in the first round this year. Its Morgan/Canales that will get to decide their fate. If they fall for one, draft him. If they don't, then don't. Don't just draft one because you need one. No one can say for sure whether ward, sanders, or any other QB in this draft will be a franchise QB. What if we take one and he doesn't work out again. How far back would that set us? I don't think we should be scared to take one and I don't think we should just say right now to focus on 2026 for QB.  Go through the routine/norm of the off-season. Scout and do our research and make the best decision for the team moving forward. If they think that is a QB first round, fine.
    • So when Sanders and Ward go on to be franchise QB's what's your excuse then?   It seems we do this every year. This is not the year to be drafting a QB. Well don't complain when this is the year that gets you another losing record.   Is next year class supposed to be elite or something? I only hear people talking about Manning and he's definitely not playing in Carolina.   So what do we do then wait for 2026?
    • This. I've been getting into EPL the last 2 years, and man, nothing matches the atmosphere of a European soccer match. Fight songs, chants, taunts. The stands are never silent. I would love to see this embraced in American football.
