I honestly didn't even know who Wonnum was but I sure did like his motor yesterday. The guy makes others around him better while being a difference maker himself. How long do we have him for? He definitely interests me as a piece of the puzzle moving forward

I was listening to the radio broadcast. I swear I thought they said DJ wampum

Part of the reason Wonnum might have made an impact is the Giants didn’t have any film to study on him in this scheme. I wouldn’t be surprised if his impact is negated in a game or two. But I’m hopeful having someone who can get to the QB will help

Bears offensive line is much worse and the defense couldn’t do anything. Morgan is building the right way but 2025 draft class needs to hit on both sides

2026 too lol. I think this is the most behind the 8 ball the team has ever been but I’m happy to watch young players grow and get paid.

Possibly but we've thrown other random guys out there with little tape and that didn't help us one bit.

How useless is DJ Johnson when Wonnum who is only one year older than him and hasn't played football in months comes back and immediately gives the pass rush a jolt of life?

What Morgan had to say about the pass rush back in July:

"President of football operations and general manager Dan Morgan hit the lectern for a chat this afternoon. With training camp officially beginning on Wednesday, he was asked if he believes there are any answers to the myriad of questions about their unproven pass rush.

“Yeah, I mean, DJ Johnson,” Morgan replied. “Drafted him last year. He’s a big, physical guy."

And Brooks might finally play.  Of course, if he does, it will be against the best run defense in the league.  Baptism of fire I suppose.

I agree and we aren't expected to do anything... so if we do... thats a huge boost for the teams confidence  moving forward!!
