So what's the plan - once you get a lead you shut it down?

Seems counterintuitive. You'd think you'd want to extend that lead...

Didn't say that at all. Just falls.into the running the ball that the offense is doing.

Yes, Bryce could have done better in the 2nd half. Yet we won. And folks like you chastise anybody for enjoying the win.

Anyways, you may go back to being a miserable fug.

Passive aggressive much?

If you can point out where I've chastised anyone for enjoying the win I'd be most grateful.

It's his thing to lash out at anyone that displays even the slightest bit of skepticism or refusal to follow the company line on the team. Then when you ask him if he's okay he'll turn around and try to make himself the victim and you the aggressor.

It's best to just awkwardly laugh and move along.

What a lazy take.

Lash out?

Victim?

Franke, you should onow.more before opening your mouth and removing all doubt.

Then again, that's also your MO.

I gave up talking to you long ago, because  you simply are to biased in your perspective. Then you like to turn it personal, for no reason.  Most likely to dismiss me.

Have a Blessed day, sir.

Sir. I cannot say enough how absolutely comical it is that you can without even a shred of irony scold someone else for being biased in their perspective when your entire persona here is to be an attack dog toward anyone that isn't a complete Panthers homer 24/7.

9/10 posts here you basically sound like a deranged Mickey Rooney.

But you keep on keeping on bud!

I think we should temper the expectations a bit. A few weeks ago everyone was ready to move on from and/or trade Bryce.

He's CLEARLY developing. I just think it takes a lot longer to develop a quarterback in this era of football. He clearly has a better grasp and understanding of his role and responsibilities within this offense.

College football is in terrible shape right now with NIL, transfer portal, covid, and all the like. All those offenses have to keep it as simple as possible, so that they can insert a QB they found into the scheme, and have as much success as possible in that year, because he may go somewhere else next year. It is really crushing professional quarterback development. Nobody in college really runs a very pro style offense anymore, because it takes so much more time and effort to do that right.  Few run a college offense in the NFL, because with the extreme athleticism and high football acumen, it just wouldn't work as well. I don't think it's any coincidence that Bryce looks so much better after watching and learning from a guy who did it at a very high level for a long time. I particularly like seeing Bryce making more adjustments at the line of scrimmage.

I think Bryce is on the right track and I'm very pleased. I also think Dave Canales has done a very good job with his development. I know that's what we hired him to do, but it seems to be the popular thing to poo poo Canales for some reason. Next step for Bryce is to do this against a team that is not terrible.

Bryce is gonna have to show he can actually pass consistently well because you can’t win against KC with the way the offense has been playing, especially in the pass game.
Defense is gonna get torched that is just inevitable so the offense if gonna need to rely on Bryce throwing the ball.
So we will see in two weeks whether Bryce is developing as a passer or his limitations are being masked by a good run game. Like Daniel Jones’ with Sequon.

Me biased?

I'm actually quite the opposite.

I just don't do the knee jerk reactions that the huddle are infamous for.  When I do post, it tends to be for calm, and perspective.   I know that isn't the way around here.

Anyways, I'm glad I can entertain you.

Have a great day sir, truly.

If college football is so bad, why were Stroud and Daniels so good?

Or is it that select players just aren't developed or good enough?

A great teammate supporting another great teammate - and the Bryce protesters show up like moths to a flame to picket the absolute nerve of a dysfunctional football team finally being functional. Oh, and to argue the semantics of "improvement".

Bryce will never be worth what we gave up for him. It sucks. Fitterer was a bad man and did bad things. That's in the past. A handful of forum dorks are convinced that they still know best because they were less dumb than the kid eating glue. There's a reason you football savants are confined to pounding on the keyboard, huffing the aroma wafting from your soiled diapers. Most of the loudest and most insistent voices are far more like the big man, Mr. Impatient, than y'all seem to realize.

Bryce has improved from "unplayable" to low end backup-caliber. The good news is he's protecting the football. So we have 2 backups on our roster, and both are limited in their upside. Even if he has the brains (jury is still out), Bryce doesn't have the arm. Andy is old and doesn't get us anywhere. He has been atrocious since the Bengals game. As long as Bryce isn't actively destroying the team, let it ride. Seems like the locker room is behind him now that Diontae isn't poisoning the well and that's numero uno. This is a learning year for everyone. If Andy is throwing for 250 yards but chucking picks in the red zone, do the stats really matter? Win the fugging games. Build the culture. Build the team. Let Bryce bridge the gap until we acquire more talent, and find your QB like the good organizations do. Don't rush, don't force it. That's why we're here to begin with. To all the chicken littles, I guarantee Canales, Morgan, and Tepper are all aware that Bryce is "for now" at best, not forever, barring some kind of Green Goblin or Captain America situation.

I've never watched an episode. LOL

Same thing over and over.

The bad guy is introduced the same way, Beth goes nuts and hates Jamie, the cowhands do something stupid, someone invades the Dutton ranch and is ran off.
