How many drops today.

Does anyone know how many drops the receivers had today. I know Legette had one and I believe Moore and Hubbard both had one but how many did Cooker have? I believe it was 2? And how many of the drops where on 3rd down?

Depends on what you call a drop.  That ball that Hubbard "dropped" was too high. Yea if he gets fingers on in it should be a catch, but that was an easy throw that allowed the defense to rally.  Even if he had come down with it, he would have been tackled immediately.

Receivers drop passes, it happens...especially rookies.

They are gonna make mistakes along with others time to time.  Thats all there is too it.

Yeap.  Receivers drop passes, qb's mess up throws, coaches make bad calls, defenders get burned.  I never get annoyed when one or two of these things happen in a game.  In the end, the team that wins is usually the team that makes fewer of those mistakes.

It seems that the story of the day was really turnovers (which are sometimes mistakes, sometimes just great plays)

Not even Bryce's momma thinks that was drop by Chuba. He had to jump with all he had to get his fingernails on it.

I dont know why this is so hard to comprehend...there is no reason to lob a ball that high to receiver out the backfield. He had pressure in his face and really just threw it up while spinning around.  It was just off.

I agree. The problem is I know at least 3 of them where on 3rd downs ending drives. When your coach is not asking you to throw it often, they all count

I guess I'm just trying to point out that while BY may not have lit it up today, I can't help but think he was better than a lot of people are giving him credit for given the drops at critical times.

Sometimes the easiest throw are the hardest to make. I remember cam had a bad habit of throwing 90 mph fastballs to his checkdown receiver.
