I like allar and the qb from LSU as second round options. I'm coming more on board with taking the best defensive player available in the first. Hopefully that's a DE.

The fact as to if BW will turn into a quality NFL starter remains to be seen.  Everything else is just opinion.  This list is why I don't want to trade him for a bag of dildos.

And before anyone starts with the "buts" to illustrate why BW's situation is different I'll add my only contention is that there is a long list of QB's who improve and get better.  The potential upside is huge while the downside of continuing with BW for the rest of this season is very low.  Also, compare that potential to the available alternatives.

This no chance, definitive stance is what drives me crazy.

If this was Bryce's first year I wouldn't be as down on him - but this isn't. He's got, what, 2 TDs and 300 yards in our 2 wins?? He has had a few nice drives and throws in that time that inspire hope, so we'll see...

The bar is so low it's comical.

The yardage and touchdown output are downright pitiful.

Look back to the brief hoopla over Kyle Allen.

13 games

3322 yards 17 touchdowns 16 interceptions 6.8 yards per attempt 62% completion

Bryce Young in 23 games. 10 more games than Kyle Allen.

3571 yards 14 touchdowns 16 interceptions 5.5 yards per attempt 59.8 completion

One of those guys was undrafted. The other was drafted first overall. Yet still there are people here who rage about how anyone speaking real facts about the limited offense with Bryce Young is an irrational hater rooting for him to fail. It is unfathomable that people can come to such conclusion if they are assessing the situation realistically. Enough is enough.

I actually think besides a couple games Canales actually has some really good offensive play calls.  Some duds too but he's a rookie hc.  I can definitely see some good concepts.

I like the play designs on some things. The calling is subject to lots of variables.

Get us a QB that doesn’t have to have a speed governor installed on the offense so he can run it, then let’s see.

Amen.  I don’t see understand how he has had a job with The Charlotte Observer as long as he has.  He’s terrible at his job.  Only thing I like about him is that he gets under Tepper’s skin at his press conferences.

The team can't run his full playbook.  He said as much after we lost to the Saints in game one.  He's admitted he's had to adjust.

Eh....ride him until the wheels fall off. We need to focus on developing our other young players. Bryce's development is significantly lower on the priority list since he has conclusively proved he is not a starting NFL QB.

Bryce looks better for sure. Just be thankful Watson isn’t our QB and many here wanted him bad including our owner.

I really believe the playbook is simple because of so many rookies and a 1st year offense. New O-line players (but vets) with now a 2nd year center. 3 rookies at WR and TE. I hope as they grow it keeps opening up and Canales feels he can trust them. Same on defense. Rookie MLB, rookies on the DL. A rookie at slot DB. But right now he's always said, just do the basics and be good at it, then you can develop into more. 

Good steps early enough to save the season as in it gives the team and fans hope for the future as to they are building in the right direction. A good showing, even if we lose against KC will be another nice step forward.
