I don’t understand the “fans” that want to tank. We have been tanking for 7 years (Jay Z) and where has that brought us….

HEAR RIGHT NOW 2 WINS IN A ROW!

Lmfoa what are wins against garbage TEAMS WHEN YOU ALREADY have 9 losses we are all but mathematicaly eliminated why root to fuging win? ITS NOT EVEN LIKE ITS ENTERTAINING TO WATCH they are boring af.

Don't get me wrong if we had say.... 6 or 7 losses sure I'd still want to win because there would be a chance at the playoffs....

You people are a trip them winning at this point after going 1-9 is a giant middle finger to the fans

Felt worse than any loss this season, there are a LOT of bad teams this year we might end up outside of the top 10 and be stuck with "my best game is comparable to a below average backup bryce young"

There is nothing to enjoy about it unless you are an idiot.

Uhh buddy, we're 3-7. Not 3-9.

Other than the Chuba fumble, offense didn't have any major screwups. Considering the Giants pass rush, we mostly kept to we should be doing most weeks.

But this was a massive W for our much maligned defense. Yes, bad opponent, but they didn't get gashed on every single drive. They had pressures, run stops and most importantly, turnovers. And the last one wasn't a gimme. It was punched out. The D earned that one.

Canales has a difficult job trying to build a winning culture with what little he has. The few chances he has to build up the confidence of a lot of the young players we have, he needs to take advantage. The win may not help our draft position but it helps him in keeping the team together.

And finally, snice the team's on a bye next week, this was essentially the closest game to my birthday. Of course I'll accept the W, even if the cake is a bit of a mess.

    • LeBron not getting enough attention he had to announce to the world he's leaving social media for the time being lol   This man about to be 40. This is kid like behavior and I'm a fan of LeBron. Cmon bro do better.
    • Does anyone else see this as the beginning of the end of Freddie Andersen? It started as a day-to-day. Escalated to week-to-week: Brind'Amour announced that Andersen was considered week-to-week with the injury. He said, "That's a little more time than I was hoping, but hopefully we'll get an update every week". Next: Brind'Amour later said that Andersen's injury would be "way longer" than expected. Now: https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs/latest-news/report-former-maple-leafs-goaltender-frederik-andersen-shut-down-by-hurricanes-to-miss-roughly-8-weeks-following-knee-surgery According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, Andersen is set to undergo surgery that will keep him out of the team's lineup for "roughly" eight weeks. Who here believes the Canes will roll with Kochetkov and Martin without making a move?
    • Meniscus maybe? I can't see it being ligaments or he would be done for the year.
