17 points and four turnovers fire the dc lmao

you people need Islam

if he posted those numbers against the Chiefs I'd be over here slobbing his knob but that defense has gotten dog dicked by every competent offense all season long and went full charmin soft defense with the game on the line against a terrible offense.

Lmao is this a joke? Holding the Giants to 17 isn't a flex.

I don't get it either.  The Giants were averaging 15 points per game prior to this weekend.  Dead last in the league in scoring offense . . . and we managed to let them exceed their average.

That soft zone defense when leading at the end of games is as old as the NFL. I’m not going to blame Evero for using schemes I've seen from Ron Rivera and John Fox.

the real issue is we dont get enough pressure with the front 4

We are going to have to draft pressure. I hope our scouting department is doing their homework. We need to hit on later round drafts picks and find diamonds in the rough for the next few years to get things solidly on track but that is rare to do on a regular basis unfortunately.

I wont be salty if Evero leaves on his own or is scapegoated but honestly i think he’s fine and the defense will get better with more talent. Front 7 needs some love.

This, my guy has not had a true NT for over 2 seasons now... like how tf can you reasonably stop the run with Shy fuging Tuttle at NT? Lets not even get started on the edge rushers or the D-line depth.

edit: or CB2

The defense has been beaten up by incompetent offenses (Bears, Broncos and even the Raiders).  Actually holding down an incompetent offense is an improvement.  Not a big one, but an improvement nonetheless.

YES we NEED a true NT. We have been missing that since Star left

The much improved defense is the biggest key in the past two wins, more so than a "resurgent" Bryce Young.  Remember when we were giving up 30+ points per game until recently?  Yeah, Young can't produce the amount of firepower to overcome that kind of deficit.

    • I think a lot of wrs are going to go in the second round before we pick.  There are a lot of wr needy teams.  I think there will be a big run on them in the late 30s and 40s.
    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
