Panthers vs. Giants in München

Stop! Just stop!

Picking high guarantees nothing! Have you learned nothing from Bryce? From Ickey? High picks mean nothing. Nothing!

A team that is capable of winning games is much more important. Because #1 on a poo team looks like poo. #8 has a legit chance of making a mediocre team better.

All I'm saying is things will change. It's what we do. When the draft rolls around the what if talk begins.

At some point this team just needs to start winning and build some sort of confidence/momentum

As much as I love a top 3 pick this team has picked high the last several years and it hasn’t done much

So whatever. If we couldn’t beat the Saints and Giants then no top 3 pick us saving us anyways

Plus, I want Luther Burden so I rather us be at 6 or something

Much like Miami when they took Waddle

Bryce Young had 1 single touchdown with 126 passing yards and 5.0 YPA (good for the worst in the entire league amongst all qualified passers).

If they don't make a move for any other QB that is enough to ditch the franchise for the foreseeable future.

Bryce isn't the answer. He's playing better than he did in the past but it's still not good enough to matter in the NFL. We've got talent on offense... Just gotta find that qb

I think Canales could do wonders with a QB room of Derek Carr, Daniel Jones and Andy Dalton after they dump their QBs. Canales is a vet QB whisperer and not a rookie QB developer. Canales rookie development is with receivers and TEs

Damn, you just made me even more depressed with that thought

This may have solidified us not getting a QB in 2025 R1. For better or for worse

15 of 25 125 yards and a td 2nd year first overall pic glad they won but hopefully they are not feeling bryce that much to pass on top qbs

TBH, I know they won't but Dalton should still be starting. He is still the better QB.

    • Mayes has a weight advantage at Center.  Christensen’s versatility is valuable but better on the outside than the interior IMO. Mays can also play multiple spots along the interior. I think we’re in the best position we’ve been in years with the OL.
    • Back n 94 or 85 (We had just drafted Biakabatuka and Moose) I was at an OTA in Rock Hill and I bumped into Donnie Shell, the player personnel director, I believe.  It was just after the AFC playoff final when Harbaugh was the Colt QB and he had a pass dropped in the end zone that would have beaten Pittsburgh.  I grew up a Colt fan--so I told him how it made me sick, and he laughed--very nice guy.  I then asked him about the Hall of Fame, and he said that he appreciated the thought and he prays for it, but there are so many of his teammates from that Steeler team who deserved it more--he said that it probably makes it more difficult for him because they do not want to let in every Steeler and they could argue that I was better because of my teammates.  He was very humble.  I told him that I was only a young kid, but I remember him bringing it just as much as the others--I was so happy when he was inducted--even after he laughed at my Colts.
