I am easing off my stance that we have to draft a WR in the 2nd.

It is still my first choice but...

I would be equally content loading up on guys that have been overlooked.

There are two WR's that are flying under the radar i would love to see in a Panther Uni.

Scott Long, Louisville

Marcus Easley, UConn

Blair White, MSU

All three are projects but have a size speed combination and could be developed.

If the draft falls anything like Walterfootball has it going we will have some tough decisions to make. Tyson Alualu, Carlos Dunlap, Lamar Houston, Mardy Gilyard, Damian Williams, Brandon Ghee, Patrick Robinson, and Dominique Franks are all available when we pick. If Richard Marshall moves on Ghee, Robinson or Franks would be very tempting. Not only that could the LIONS be willing to part with their 3rd? I really like Marshall but he does seem to give uneven effort sometimes and may be looking for more of a payday than we are willing to give him.

P.S. for some reason i am unable to post on the Draft Threads so bare with me.

i'm easing off my stance that i will destroy the world if we don't draft a wide receiver in the 2nd. i will now only destroy the western hemisphere.

I believe that's a form of trolling

not necessarily... my first account was cut off... i could log in but couldn't post anywhere. and i hadn't had any issues with anyone before that. and i would assume that if a mod blocks you or bans you from the site, then your IP address is banned as well. well, i created a new account and was able to post and stuff thereafter.

believe it or not, this site sometimes has errors. it happens.

nice. we need a WR in the second. i don't care what anyone says. i'm hoping that the higher the pick the better the production will be. and if that's not the case, i hope that us picking a WR that early will give us a handful of players to choose from at the least.

yes we need a WR but I hope they stay drafting the way they have lately by picking BPA. There are three areas of need that I would be ok with drafting first WR, DE, DT.

fudge the areas of need and best pick available. steve smith will be 31 this year and he's the only wr we have! if we keep this up he'll retire and we'll have no one. we need to acquire a whole group of wrs before he retires so we can keep the ones who prove themselves. we no longer have the luxury of picking one wr a draft and hoping he turns out to be something. if we are going to build our team through the draft and not pick up a wr through free agency or trades, we have to start drafting multiple wrs, preferably most with high draft picks.

I still want them to pick more than one WR but I still think that you pick the BPA in the first two rounds and then go for need after that. After reading my last post I see I did not explain my position earlier.
