I agree he is lite to play DE. That's why he's a situational pass rusher.

You have to move beyond the weight, and see what this kid is good at. He is best rushing the passer from the edge. Gotta believe that Meeks likes him for a reason.

Very true but isn't there a floor to how undersized a DE can be in Meeks' system? I mean D. Freeney is like 260 isn't he?

Yeah I know they got Fiammetta, but they also released Hoover and Fiammetta didn't stay healthy all season.

He wound up out for a bit with a concussion, and that in only limited activity.

Not a good sign given what his position demands of him.

i talked with sutton a few days back online and was asking him about playing FB and he essentially said that he would do it if he was asked but it didn't seem like something he particularly wanted to do. he took a pretty big beating doing it and said he mentioned to hoover how he didn't know how hoover was able to handle that for so long.

he also said that he thought fiammetta could do the job though i don't know he would have said anything negative about him. probably had to do with him not really wanting the job and would rather anyone had it than him.

There are a couple other decent fullbacks left.

RaShawn Jackson (UVA) is another bruising type but has some concerns. Manase Tonga (BYU) is more in the mold of Brad Hoover.
