Why are we wasting money on RBs? Not even 2 years and we overpaid for 2 RBs!

My thoughts are that with Saquan and Derrick Henry owning the highlight reels, there’s going to be a shift in RB pay. Maybe they are being proactive there. He is also the epitome of a ‘dawg’

Those guys been highlight reels for years.

Now that they on good rosters they are now considered valuable.

Just look at Tennessee and NY last season. At the bottom of the league because they had no talent around them.

I played RB in highschool. I know the position I actually lived it. We are nothing without our Oline. No holes no factor.

It's just the truth.

No, no, no!

Detroit has a elite roster. That's not gonna work with this roster. Chubba is a top 3 back yet we are still one of the worst teams in football.

2RB system works when you have a talented roster. We just don't have that and it's not gonna result in wins.

No single player or position makes a team go from bad to good other than QB. By your logic we shouldn’t resign anyone.

With all due respect I don't think any team was going to pay Chubba big money. He wasn't helping us win games. We are the only team dumb enough to overpay a RB aka Miles Sanders.

Even the elite RBs had trouble getting paid. Nobody wanted Saquan besides the Eagles and Henry could only get Baltimore interested in him. The position is valuable when you have a roster around them.

Henry was a non factor in Tennessee because he didn't have the roster. Same for Saquan.

This is coming from a guy who was a RB in highschool lol. Bro we just run. Our success depends on how the Oline blocks. Without them we are useless literally!

#MindOfAnEliteRB

I would argue that Chubba has won us games. He scored to 2 TDs last week, and the game winning TD on a 16 yd run. We have seen a good RB and a bad RB in the same game with the same line (Chubba vs Sanders). Chubba's 5 yard runs are so vital to Bryce to make 2nd and 3rd down manageable, Canales for some refuses to give him more touches. A struggling QBs best friend is a good run game.

CMC, Saquan, Henry are all thriving because they are around a talented team for sure. Our talent is nowhere near that, but I do believe that at least our O-line is good enough for a good RB. At the end of the day, everyone has an opinion.

The guy who actually played RB is getting told the position is valuable.

When in fact RB is probably the least important position on offense. If the Oline doesn't block the back doesn't gain yards.

If the Oline blocks you get a top 3 RB aka Chubba.

Ask the Eagles how they made a bad RB look all pro in Miles Sanders.

You guys better listen to me on this particular subject. Nobody knows RB more than me. The position relies on others success. Anyone can run with a ball. Just open up some running lanes and I will get it done.

Don't pay us big money we not that important unless the team is loaded.

XL, Coker, Brooks, and Sanders are all going to be on cheap deals next two years.  The whole oline is back next year minus Brady. This contract isn’t going to kill us.  Attack defense in the draft and build this thing out.

So Miles looks just as good as Chuba this year? Same OL…

QB, Olineman, WRs, TEs, RBs get the scraps.

From important to least important that's how the offense works. Don't overpay your elite RB who has a elite Oline who blocks for him. The moment that Oline stinks you will get a bad RB.
