Actually, Mark Jones has better numbers, and only 2 career fumbles.

we had mark jones right after his peak and he went down hill after that. it was inevitable because what made him so good was his ability to use the 3 man wedge. once that was gone, the return game changed and you had to be a lot faster.

i'm not sorry we lost him. i'm sorry we didn't get anyone to replace his production. hopefully we did that just now. i think we are on the way to getting that returner. i doubt we are are done with it, though. look how many gunners we have picked up. we lost one and picked up three.

we will probably be looking at other returners. competition there is going to be better than what we have had in a long time, imo. i'm just glad they are done with picking up any old bozo long term project and stashing them on STs hoping that they can fill a spot. they are actually trying to get good ST players this year.

LOL AWESOME... I always pick him up for a late rounder or scrub fodder that's already on the Panthers roster and make him the returner.

The guy has 98 speed on Madden... Excellent.

Always use the one with the better overall for simmed games (offline franchise or something) and use the one with more speed for when you play the game yourself.

I just used Jones to point out that we have had good returners recently. I know he got hurt, and probably isn't as good as he was. But for all these rejects we keep picking up, we might have been better off getting Ginn and only using him for returns.

do you seriously even have a clue? did you look up what he's done? he is a legit returner.

I don't have a clue? Every time they pick up a scrub from a poor team....if I acted like he was the cure to our weakness? Would that mean I have a clue?

Name me a legit NFL return man w/ at least 75 kick returns...... who has zero TDs....and only one he broken for 50 or more. If you aren't uberly overly optimistic around here...that makes you an idiot I guess.

that kid isn't a legit returner. He hasn't shown to be one in the NFL. What is your definition of legit? Returning kicks and not being horrible?

Return man has been a need for yearS. Carolina needs a return man. They should get one. Quit hoping to find a diamond in the rough that might work out.

Not proud to admit that the ONLY reason I know this guy is because he's always the fastest FA in my Madden '10 franchise

EDIT: just read the posts above mine and im happy to see im not the only one :)

At least we won't suck in Madden 11 now. :D

i thought cap'n did ok in those last few games... add that to the fact that he was a rookie last season... i dunno, this seems like TC competition to me and he'll get cut before the preseason is over.

when munnerlyn returned he looked like gamble, scared. Which is fine, i mean, I wouldn't want to get crushed on a ST play either. But I dunno if that's something you can teach out and I definitely wouldn't bet on it.
