Best war movie ever

The first half of FMJ was artwork. Kubrick was a genius. The second half showed the contrast and how much of war is just standing around BSing but also dealing with some messed up crap (the sniper). It was definitely a drop off from the intensity of the first half, but man, that drill sergeant was one of the best war movie characters ever. I mean, one could say SPR had a huge dropoff from it's opening half hour, too.

You know that the movie PATTON was responsible for the original Mid East Peace Treaty, rgiht? (OK, Jimmy Carter had a hand in it!)

Jimmy Carter had Sadat and Begin at Camp David. and that night showed the original Patton Movie. (This had some bloody scenes in it, tamed down a lot for TV)

Finally an aid stood up and pointed to the scene!

"THIS! THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO STOP!" He yelled!

It was at that Camp David meeting that the original Mid-East Peace Treaty was hammered out and signed!

This is the first and only time I know if that a War movie brought about peace!

Patton Wins hand down. End of of discussion!
