Bryce Young playing just decent enough for the rest of the season for the decision makers to justify standing pat at QB next season is a nightmare scenario that is possible. They've coddled him so much already nothing would surprise me.

Bro I am telling Canales has already made up his mind.  Young aint it.  Young cannot run his offense.

And Canales makes all the calls, right? Big boss man would never run him off to keep Bryce in play? Cool. Let's hope.

That writer must have been duped by the Adam SCHEFLER twitter account that breaks fake trades, although he doesn't source anything. Steelers traded for Mike Williams for a 5th.

Whoever is negotiating for Baltimore must be a genius.  Made a few deals and gave back almost nothing.

White hasn't been the same since he got injured in Buffalo, and was barely playing for the Rams. Ravens' secondary has been awful and injured so it's a dart throw at this point...that's why they are swapping picks in like 2026 for him.

I heard they couldn't agree on compensation. Did they work it out?

It didn’t happen, the writer was duped by a fake Twitter post of someone pretending to be Adam schefter. I won’t link the Twitter post because I don’t want to give it more engagement, but here’s a screenshot of what the fake source is.

Yet we are still the joke of the NFL.

Did you notice how people are still clowning us for getting their HC fired?

Look in the mirror guys we can't make fun of other teams when we have been at the bottom for years now. Stay humble.

STAY HUMBLE?!

It's been 7+ years of poo.

    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
    • Well, we got our answer on Army today.
    • Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL.  In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
