Canalas reluctant to name Bryce the starter is interesting.  He might be dealt

Doubt it right now.

More likely this offseason.  This isn’t projected a very good QB class with only 2 realistic guys With 1st rd grades.

And a lot of QB needy teams.  Someone who isn’t in the range for Ward or Sanders may bite hard.

You saw our dumbazzes do it with Darnold

True. But apparently he has more drama to deal with. There is a reason they took what they did for Johnson and we may never hear about it but I'm sure it was justified in their minds.

I don't get the outrage over what round pick we got. He is a UFA in 10 games and was squabbling with the org here. Not a value enhancement.

I do get the irritation over us paying him to play elsewhere, that is not an isolated guy, he is added to a growing list.

Report I read said the deal we got was easily the best offer available because teams knew he wanted out and had no intention to resign.  We had 0 leverage for a guy looking for a contract at 28/29 as a #2 WR.  Mingo might not ever be good but younger, cheaper, no attitude issues, no contract.  Makes sense

Man, if that is true it sounds like people wanted us to just plain give him away and pay for him too.
