As if we didn't have a lot on our plate already. Now the biggest circus has just entered the top 5 draft discussion. I can see this from a mile away guys like Sanders and Hunter will try to get to Dallas. Both can't get there, but that is yet another team we have to worry about.

The Nat'l media is going to put pressure on them to land one of the top 4 prospects. I just hate we have to listen to this nonsense up until draft night.

Brace yourselves the storm is coming.

Well there is a less than 0% chance they'd take Sanders, the contract they just signed Dak to completely takes that off the table.  I do think Jerry would be dumb enough to take Hunter though solely because of the Deion connection, but for them, T-Mac would be the right call, easily.

First is my steadfast belief that Hunter is a CB at the next level, and Dallas' defense when healthy is already elite, but they have a serious lack of pass catching options after Lamb.

The reason T-Mac is the right pick over Hunter, even as a WR, for the Cowboys is they line Lamb up in the slot a lot, pretty sure he lead the NFL in yards from the slot last season actually.

If Hunter plays WR in the NFL, he's going to be that same type of guy who is used in the slot, T-Mac is a true outside WR who would pair much better with Lamb than Hunter would.

And don't say I'm saying this because of my openly admitted love of T-Mac, it's purely about them already having Lamb in the slot.

Didn’t Dak just get an extension ?? I don’t know the details but I’m sure it would be hard to ditch that contract…

I'm not just talking about the QB situation.

It's guys like Hunter/Tmac who are the best non QB prospects imo. They could all try to force a way to Dallas. It's going to be a lot of rumors and agents talking for these players. We already have trouble attracting talent, these guys agents aren't going to want them in Carolina.

It's gonna be a wild off-season.

That's my point Dallas could easily get a Hunter or Tmac. Nobody is gonna draft these guys if they don't want to play in a certain market.

We already have to worry about Vegas/Miami now throw Dallas in that mix. It's just too much for us. Those markets are just sexy and these young guys want to be in the spotlight.

Don't be shocked if we start hearing the top prospects don't want to be in Carolina or Tennessee.

99.99% of prospects don't have the ability to force teams not to draft them, even if their agents don't want them to go to those teams.

It's essentially only happened a few times in NFL history.  Elway had Baseball as his leverage and Manning used his family name.

Sanders/Hunter have Deion behind them who could use his weight to force it, but beyond that, someone like T-Mac couldn't do it even if he wanted to.

And beyond that, trust me when I say that it's not in T-Mac's nature to do it anyways.  Our own fans are begging him to sit out the rest of the season already to not risk injury and hurt his draft stock after how our season has gone.  But even the ones doing that are openly saying they know there is no way in hell he'd do that.

In free agency, yea, that's totally different, players and teams are probably avoiding us for a bit unless we way overpay them, but not in the draft for anyone not named Sanders or Hunter.

They will be linked to Shedeur the entire offseason. Pending Tua's health I could see them taking a swing on Dak though...it may not be as crazy as you think

Vegas/Miami/Dallas for sure will be linked to Shedeur.

Honestly I wouldn't be mad if we tried to trade for Dak as long as they give us a few 1st for taking that contract.

Come away with Dak and Tmac + 2 future 1st would be my dream scenario.
