Trading up to the #1 pick to draft a QB and including his #1 WR in the deal will always be crazy to me.

Not saying Moore would have made Bryce a better QB, but damn they literally left him with nothing as a rookie.

Tepper thought Bryce was so good he wouldn’t need good wrs.

DJ was my guy when he was here and I totally understand why he'd want to flex against the Panthers. They traded him away and it wasn't like he asked for a trade. He's a great WR.

But Legette already has twice as many touchdowns in his rookie season as Moore had in 2018.

Anyone who thinks he walked off the field mid play doesn't know football, that was a very vet savvy move.

He accidentally stepped out of bounds so he made sure he was nowhere near Caleb's line of sight because he couldn't catch a pass anyways.

Literally saw the same thing with Hunter Henry on that wild Maye play and people were praising it, but here they think it means he's unhappy, lol

My initial thought is he was on the sideline, realized he stepped out, and once he did that, he's no longer an eligible receiver, and I think its kind of a heads up play because if the ball is thrown to him, its a penalty.  That was just my opinion on it though.

It's only a penalty if he's first to touch it.  If he stays on the field the defender is going to stick with him regardless instead of going to help defend someone else and also he can block if a pass is made.

But the QB wouldn't have any way of knowing he stepped out of bounds, so if he stayed on the field, there's every possibility that Caleb would have thrown to him.

Particularly as the defender would have also seen him step out, a smart defender would then just leave him to go help cover someone else, as he'd know that any pass to DJ there would lead to a penalty anyways, why bother covering him anymore and take yourself out of the play as well.

It's good when you and I can agree on something for a change. That's exactly what happened.

DJ has never been known to quit on anything.

Hey Mr. Scot. You cannot embed x.com links, you have to change it to say twitter.com and leave everything else the same, it will auto convert and the embedder will then takeover.

    • LeBron not getting enough attention he had to announce to the world he's leaving social media for the time being lol   This man about to be 40. This is kid like behavior and I'm a fan of LeBron. Cmon bro do better.
    • Does anyone else see this as the beginning of the end of Freddie Andersen? It started as a day-to-day. Escalated to week-to-week: Brind'Amour announced that Andersen was considered week-to-week with the injury. He said, "That's a little more time than I was hoping, but hopefully we'll get an update every week". Next: Brind'Amour later said that Andersen's injury would be "way longer" than expected. Now: https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs/latest-news/report-former-maple-leafs-goaltender-frederik-andersen-shut-down-by-hurricanes-to-miss-roughly-8-weeks-following-knee-surgery According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, Andersen is set to undergo surgery that will keep him out of the team's lineup for "roughly" eight weeks. Who here believes the Canes will roll with Kochetkov and Martin without making a move?
    • Meniscus maybe? I can't see it being ligaments or he would be done for the year.
