Would you trade Williams for Big Ben?

No I like what we are doing and I want to see what Moore got it's his time to shine

This, Moore has an offseason as the #1 QB.... lets see what he can do with it. Some Qb's just need their chance. There are plenty of examples... Romo, Brady ect.

I can understand that, but I think the risk would definitely be worth the potential reward.

Williams is better at his position than Big Ben is at his. But we're deep at running back, and even if we weren't it is one of the easiest positions to hit on in the draft.

Having a franchise quarterback in Roethlisberger would do wonders for our team.

Who says we don't all ready have our franchise quaterback??? So you would give up a stud RB for a franchise quaterback... While we probably all ready have one our roster... Meaning we give up our stud for nothing.

Yes, if I were a Steelers fan.

:cheers2:

Yes, it would do wonders. Bad ones. It would stain the franchise (literally) and any super bowl we might win.

Um, in a hot minute.

While we probably all ready have one our roster

We have another "stud RB" on our roster should we let go of Williams. I want to make it clear I'm behind Moore and hope he'll do well, but right now there's no comparison between Moore and Roethlisberger. He may very well be our next franchise quarterback, but Roethlisberger has proven himself a winner.

This may be the dumbest idea ever posted on this board.

Yeah. Let's be the team of both Rae Carruth and Ben Roethlisberger. The murderer and the rapist, all in one city :nonod:

And to make it even worse, let's trade one of the nicest, best-loved most high character guys on the team, and ask for a POS like Big Ben in return. Wow.

While we're at it, let's just spit on everything Jerry Richardson has done to try to assure that he had a high character organization. Heck, spit on Jerry himself. You may as well if you do this deal.

(at least this thread wasn't started by a Panther fan)

The reason Williams and Stewart are so good together is that there is no dropoff when one comes out and the other goes in. You lose either one, the run game will be hurt substantially.

did you watch Stewart run over everyone at the end of the year. The run game will only be substantially hurt if we are down to one and he gets banged up.

overall the positive outweigh the negatives......but one negative is Fox doesn't always ride the hot RB in games. Like the NY games this past year, if both RBs are healthy we could have easily been less successful on the ground.

one point that people miss about our running game is that it employs 2 1st round rb talents. there are other teams that have better or equal ground games with out this luxury. we will lose one of these guys one day. just depends on who it is.
